I hope this doesn't go down as a silly post, but it's been a few years since I've been able to attend a game in Arizona. What are the current protocols for the stadium? Any specific covid procedures? Also, where's the best place to park if you do not have a pass? Somewhere near the Westgate shops?

Tickets are all digital. Be sure to have them opened or saved to apple wallet so you can scan. They have self scan machines that have a green light once you scan your barcode.
Be sure if you are with someone who carries a bag or purse that they abide by the clear bag and size policies. I've seen numerous people turned away because of bag policy. Last game my son had bought a football from one of the street vendors but didn't snap that those weren't allowed. Had to run it back to car before we could go thru security.
They have signage and announcement regarding CDC recommendations for face covings but AZ for the most part doesn't partake. Being from NM, we are pretty used to wearing masks but very few people I saw wearing masks indoor. Depends on your comfort level.
We usually park at Westgate because we normally go back there after the games to hang out.

Thank you. Was thinking to just park at Westgate. I pick my buddy up at Sky Harbor around 130, so we'll probably just go over there at that time. I have no problem wearing a mask and will do so. My buddy is the one who invited me...will be sitting in his company's suite. I'll have to make sure he know tickets are all digital.

My wife and I count all of the people running back to their vehicles with stuff each game as we walk in from the Blue lot. We've gotten into the 30's a couple of times.

head out there early - like 3 hours early

6pm kick off coincides with rush hour- traffic is going to be a disaster

Added to that is the lack of police intervention with stoplights in and around the stadium area. They used to do a really great job controlling the lights for miles around in the heavily congested spots but lately it's been obvious that you're simply on your own.

We get there 4 hours early when the gates open. Then we do our thing on the Great Lawn. Time flies when you’re having fun.

when i had season tix -- on a Sunday game i could leave the house 90 mins before kickoff and be in my seats with 15 mins to spare

Monday / thursday night games? I learned the hard way i had to take a half day off from work, and leave the house 3+ hours prior to kick

yes, i got there with 90 mins to spare -- but there seemed to be no middle ground

PM me your email address. I have extra parking passes in blue lot (complimentary).
