By and large your picks came off the board where they should - with perhaps the exception of Faine (because centers seldom go that high) and Warren who might be a tiny reach.

Assuming you're right and Parcells (who's been might quiet - if Leftwich was there, I bet he leaps on that puppy) takes Suggs -

Despite being a charter member of the "We Gotta Draft a CB Early" club, I'm having second thoughts about Newman and Trufant - not so much because I'm concerned about Newman's shoulder, but because I think Robertson might help us more (and, I'll admit it, sooner) next to Wendell than would a CB drafted high. Just as we did a year or so ago with the O-Line, we would have at long last fixed the chronic situation regarding the interior of our D-Line.

Of course, we'd then still be stuck with a need to draft a CB, DE and WR near the tops of rounds 2, 3 & 4.

Yes i heard that also.I hope the Draft does NOT happen this way.I just think that Dallas or Houston will mess up things for the Cards.I think Newman would be a panicky need pick.I would rather take a shot at Trufant or michael Haynes with this pick if Suggs or Leftwich are gone.

I would be thoroughly disappointed with the two Cards picks.

I'm not a big Newman fan, and if I were to even thing about a CB high, it would be Trufant. Cory Redding was never that productive, and his workout wasn't that good (though he did very well in the 3 cone drill which shows he is very agile).
