Anchorman is getting WAAAAY too much space devoted to it on this board. Kinda like Andre Wadsworth.

Only in your and NEZ's opinions.

I'm good at three things....fighting, screwing and quoting Anchorman. I've already done one today, what's the other gonna be?

I'll fight you if you wear a Laker jersey.

Ah, hell, actually, you don't have to wear the jersey...

Here's a question: WHY don't you like him? And please don't tell me it's because he looks funny.

I don't know if I can give a satisfying answer - he is just one of those actors whom I can not stand - maybe do to the overhyping he gets. There is just something about his acting that rubs me the wrong way, and doesn't make the movie enjoyable anymore.

Some actors can sell any performance they give - make you believe that the actor IS the character. When I watch "A Few Good Men", I don't see Jack Nicholson, I see Colonel Nathan Jessup. Whenever I watch Nicholas Cage film, I see Nicholas Cage.

I'll smack you in the face with a copy of The Village DVD.

Thank god you didn't pick the other option.

I actually tried to watch it - couldn't make it through it....

That's too bad. It's a great movie, and spectacular if you happen to be a writer. But I'm biased, I'm a writer AND it's my favorite Charlie Kaufman movie (yes, I like it better than Eternal Sunshine).

Lord of War (nick cage movie...I think that's what it's called)

EDIT: Sorry I thought this was the most UNDER rated movies. ...Plus I wanted to add to the list of really good Cage movies...

That's right. I saw that a few days ago. It was ok, interesting, but nothing spectacular.

I obviously don't know for certain, but I would venture a guess that "Snakes on a Plane" is bound to be overrated.

That is a given. Nothing could live up to the hype at this point.

It is not "good" hype though. Most people are saying that the movie is ridiculous as it sounds.

How is that not good hype? The movie is called Snakes on a Plane. It's about Snakes. On a plane. That's why it's so popular, it's a totally ridiculous premise, and they don't beat around the bush with the title. How many movies do that? Not many.

I am pretty sure it's supposed to be. I can't imagine that anyone would think that a movie about snakes on a plane is going to be competing for oscars. Movie is aa joke, it's completely ridicilous, but I like movies like that from time to time. I don't know about anyone else but I'm gonna go see it- if for nothing else, then for some good laughs- I mean- SNAKES ON A PLANE! It can't get more ridicilous than that. :)

I'll be in the minority here, but with all the hype it got...Wedding Crashers just wasn't worth it. The first 35 minutes of the movie the audience was dead silent when I saw it in a packed theater. It had a couple decently funny parts, but that's about it. And this coming from a guy who laughs at just about anything. :)

The movie for me didn't deliver anywhere close to all the hype it got. I think the "Johnny Come Lately's" who hadn't yet discovered Vince Vaughn bought into it cause both "Old School" and even "Starsky and Hutch" were tons better in my humble opinion of course. :)

I guess I'll say Chariots of Fire. I'm a runner, so I was really looking forward to seeing this. It didn't come close to meeting my expectations.

Being John Malkovich - clever idea, beaten to death over the course of the movie.

Eternal Sunshine was very good, though.
