Of course FT's are part of the game but when you shoot 44 shots and only make 19 then it is interesting that only 38 pts came from made shots. Pointing that out is not hating.

ok I'm gonna stop here. because I've seen enough BS reading through the dirk/nash....kobe/paul......and now the odom is better than west? allright. odom is a good player when he wants to be. and I have to admit that the guy has played well since gasol came over. but the guy has been a spare in a lakers uniform for the most part.

as far as kobe....he's the mvp period. should paul have won it....maybe. but kobe finally won and he's a great player that deserves to be called the mvp. he shows up every night and is one of the toughest players in the league to match up against....period. dirk deserved it last year and dirk is an example of a guy who carries his team on his shoulders every game. he is the only star on that team(unless you want to throw in an underachieving jason kidd now).....and no steve did not deserve it last year regardless of prior seasons or not. but who knows. maybe voters looked back to the year prior when the mvp led his team to a loss against the dirk led mavs in the playoffs. maybe they realized how important a certain guy named amare was to that phoenix team. steve had a great thing going in phoenix. He was extremely underrated in dallas and when he got to a phoenix team that had great talent around him he finally got some love from the media. It's funny how that works. nash gets a great team around him and he gets some recognition. kobe gets some good players around him and he does. just goes to show the mvp is a team award at the end of the day. I think dirk won because the mavs were the best team that year as well. it is a team award now.
