First of all, there's no place like home! Yesterday's game was as fun as any I've been to. Was great to be back tailgating, seein the ASFN crew at halftime, watchin my favorite team. Good stuff! The only negative was Raider nation and how completely obscene, drunk and obnoxions 98% of them were.

On to the game. I was encouraged about many things. Our team made tons of mistakes and mental errors and we still won the game. People say we got "lucky" but that's just dumb. The Raiders were just as lucky as us, there are breaks in every game. Like we've never lost a game because our kicker choked. lol

So anyways my main thoughts are below:

Defense: much better than in Atlanta. (not really much of a compliment I know) Dockett was a beast and was bursting through the line all day. He only got one sack but he was terrorizing the Oline and Grad all day. Paris Lennon also had a great game the guy was all over the field. DRC and ADUB both had a terrible game but oh well, it happens these guys are both pro bowlers and they will bounce back. Kerry Rhodes had a solid game, just needs to catch the dang ball! Toler had aweful moments and some good moments. He's essentially a rookie so it is to be expected but he showed he has potential and I think he will continue to improve. No more PI Gregory!

Offense: Running game looked great. Love me some Beanie! THT was ok but Beanie just has something, idk what it is but he's got it.

Deuce, it's been a rough offseason but dude, on that 4th and 1 play where THT ran behind you, you MANHANDLED your guy unlike anything I've ever seen. It was impressive dude, good job!

Mr. Anderson.....

Dear Derek,
Hey man, it's Bert, sup. I hope you noticed yesterday that this offense has a lot of weapons and when you dont play like crap, it's really easy to move the ball down the field (especially at home). Why do you have to throw the ball so hard and behind the receivers so often? Why cant you just put it on the money like you did on that one with Fitz or that one with Breaston? Why do you constantly stare at Stephen Williams when Fitzgerald is running uncovered down the field? Larry Fitzgerald, (you know, your best player) was as wide open as I have EVER seen him on 3 occasions yesterday, and everytime you missed him because you were staring at Stephen Williams. I know you guys bonded and became BFF's in camp, but I dont care. THROW THE BALL TO FITZ YOU MORON! And most importantly, why oh why did you suddenly think you are Brett Favre and throw not one, but two ILL ADVISED shuttle passes? Why Derek? You actually made some good throws in this game because you had some time and so it seems like if you would just settle down and pull your head out of your butt you could make MORE good throws. The oline protected you much better yesterday. You had tons of time on some of those throws and you were still off on alot of them dude. Get it together man because all game yesterday I was trying to estimate how much WORSE could it possibly be if we put Hall or Skelton in and I am running out of reasons to leave you in there.

Sincerely, Bert

Special teams: (I put on my best high-school pricipal voice) Andre, Andre, Andre....
Andre, why would you play 80 yards back when dude is punting out of the end zone? He already did it to you once, you know he kicked it short and you were slow to tell your teammates to get out of the way. Thats on you man, you've got to step up and field those punts. Do you realize that you were drafted in the 3rd round and are close to being a bust 3 games into your career?

Why cant LSH field punts? Does anyone know? It's a serious question. Can he not catch them? He's the best special teamer we have and he's a threat on every kickoff, so why not punts? Bottom line, Andre your days catching punts are over.

Speaking of LSH, you're amazing. Nuff said.

I figure the DA, Fitz thing will work itself out, no better bus schedule out of town than the one reserved for people who don't get Fitz the ball.

Totally disagree with Roberts. Lechler is no stranger to punting 65 yard bombs. He was absolutely screaming to Ware and DRC to get the heck out of the way. Those TO are on both of those players.

His only true mistake was fielding the punt inside the 5. That's a rookie mistake and can be fixed.

I disagree with your face! :mulli:

;)jk Well whoever is to blame they need to fix it cuz it was sad. It seemed to me like there isn't an issue if Roberts gets up there and fields the punt but I dont claim to know everything, was just my view.
