if he is available at our pick, the cardinals better think about this kid. great character, and a very very very smart kid.

Ah...The Kurt Warner of the safety position. Wouldn't hurt to draft him if we get some extra picks for Boldin and Rolle refuses to rework his contract.

Your forgot to mention Rolle is a physical speciman like AW. ;)

If we took Rolle in the first I would just turn the TV off. he is a great person and I'd love to add him to the team, but not until the third day. The bottom line is that dude is s-l-o-w. You guys get upset about our safeties being ineffective in coverage now, this guys runs a slower 40 than Cody Brown.

That is exactly what we said about Rashad Johnson.

What about his football skills?

The highest round I see Myron going is the 3rd. We already have a safety named Rolle, doubt we'll add another.

What the hell? The biggest positive about Rolle that scouts have been raving about is that he's a athletic freak.

I just have to question if you can possibly excel in the NFL named Myron?

The best Rolle coming up is Brian Rolle playing LB at THE OSU. He'll be in next years draft.

"Prototypical height and bulk. Straight-line speed is adequate but not good.

Uses positioning to mask stiff hips but inconsistent footwork and subpar hip fluidity are going to be more of an issue at the NFL level. Wastes too much motion when asked to change directions quickly and will to have a difficult time matching up in man coverage. Appears mechanical at times."

He seems like an adequate athlete, but I wouldn't pull "freak athlete" from this.

Wrong. No one with a fully functional brain has said that and there isn't a mock on Earth that has him going in the first round.

I am a Bama fan and Johnson showed some football skills at Bama. I still hold out hope that he will be a solid player in the NFL.

I think trust is a big deal with this coaching staff. And they don't trust rookies. I think Johnson was a victim of that and has to be more consistant before he sees the field more.

... mock draft out this early are supposed to be taken seriously why?

Plenty of people rise and fall between now and April. Don't hate the player, hate the draft game.

I'm not hating the player or the game. I am simply stating that safeties with MLB speed don't get selected in the first round. There will be quite a few DEs that run faster than him at the combine.

I have 20,000,000,000,000 A$FN bucks that say I'm right. I would bet it all but I need more to play with until then.

I don't do much with the bucks, but the notion of passing up a bet that DEs will outrun a S is just too much fun.
I'll be half of whatever minuscule sum I've got that says no DE will be faster.
Are we talking official combine 40 or another event that times speed?

100% sure he won't be. I think he's a 5th to 7th...too much concern about his divided attention and loyalties.

That said, I think he's a super smart and solid player who can develop nicely in the right system.

M. Rolle would have been a late 1st, early 2nd last year had he not gone to Oxford with his Rhodes Scholarship.

He did the right thing though. Even if he doesn't make it in the league, he'll still have an extremely bright future.
