Is Jarrett a top 10 prospect?

9. Levi Brown, OT, Penn State

Like Thomas, what's not to like about Brown? He was a four-year starter at left tackle who leaves Penn State with two degrees (labor relations and psychology). Brown has been All-Big Ten each of the last two years and served as team captain as a senior. Did I mention he also has NFL size (6-feet-5-inches, 324 pounds)?

10. Dwayne Jarrett, WR, Southern Cal

Is he Mike Williams? This is where Williams, his predecessor as Southern Cal's go-to guy, went in the 2005 draft - 10th overall to Detroit. Williams was a big-play, no-speed receiver. Jarrett set a Pac-10 record with his 41 career touchdown receptions, but his flaw also is a lack of speed.

From a column written by Rick Gosselin printed in the Western Courier.

JaMarcus Russell.

The QB debate this year is like a homeless man's version of the Ryan Leaf v. Peyton Manning debate.

A homeless man debating Manning v. Leaf and/or Russell v. Quinn would be very funny. Would probably not involve another person.

It's probably what Al Davis's office looks like for the next 10 days or so:

Levi Brown and JaMarcus Russell.

Brown just seems like a smaller BIG and Russell has all the ingredients you want from a QB, but the brain.

Levi Brown or Alan Branch...can't narrow it down to one or the other.

I have to go with Russell and i'm basing it entirely on his interview is saw on ESPNnews one day. He will be on the NFL network Friday night. It will be interesting to see how he comes across that night. If i went with guys just outside the top 10, my choice would be 1a-Carriker,1b-Leon Hall.

JaMarcus Russell, especially if he goes to the Raiders.

Bonus predictions:
Marshawn Lynch>Adrian Peterson
Reggie Nelson>Laron Landry.

Alan Branch and sadly he could be our pick:barf:

I'd rather draft Quinn or Russell before this guy. He has Wendall Bryant written all over him.

Russel. You have to go QB here, just because they're way more likely to bust than any other position, especially if they get through into the fire early in a place like Oakland.

Dude, Wendall Bryant was like 290 when we drafted him. Branch is 50 pounds heavier. If anything, Branch compares to a more athletic version of Jimmy Kennedy.

Isn't the usual answer "whichever player is drafted by the Cardinals"?

I have to agree. History has shown us that when the Cards make their first pick, it's like the kiss of death for that player.
