I was telling my friend just yesterday how this was probably the most underrated play of the NBA finals. I don't think Love, who is a very unathletic player, is getting enough credit for having stuck with Steph on this play despite the ball handling exhibition by Steph. Love isn't a good defender but he came through clutch for them on this play.

while I agree that Love is getting no love for that play, I think that play more then any other play in the series speaks to Curry's health in the playoffs. He's a guy who only needs an inch to get a shot off against anyone, but seemingly couldn't do that when he came back for the most part and to not be able to do it against Love says everything to me about his health.

That said, the Warriors beat LeBron and a MASH unit last year, so it's no excuse and the Cavs deserve every bit of love they're getting for pulling off the unthinkable.

Sure. I see nothing wrong with acknowledging that this was not the same Warriors team that won 73 games but it's also true that injuries are a part of the game. Every team that wins needs a little bit of luck and the Cavs had none last season.

Although I wanted the Warriors to win, I've not been all that much in their corner since Joe Lacob shot his arrogant mouth off about how much smarter he and his crew were than the rest of the league. I can't help but wonder if that took a bit of spark out of some of the players too, well, that and all the "Warriors hoping to sign so and so" leaks.

Any debate about whether Bledsoe is better than Kyrie should be laid to rest.

That game winning 3 he hit with Steph's hand in his face was absolutely ridiculous. Reminded me of Kobe with some of jaw dropping shots he's hit. I don't think Bledsoe can dream of ever hitting shots like that on such a big stage.

No doubt that he's a scoring guard but damn he can do that at a very high level.
The fact that it was brought up in the first place spoke volumes about Kyrie as he seemingly was ineffective for the start of the series. It's not saying that Kyrie wasn't better, but that the conversation at least had some merit because of some of Kyrie's perceived limitations (subpar defender, marginal passer, etc.).

Kyrie was phenomenal in the Cavs' victories and he managed to effectively defend Curry. Today, the discussion about a Kyrie for Bledsoe swap is silly.

Agreed except the part about guarding Curry. That really wasn't Curry, anyone and everyone could guard that guy. But unless Lebron wants Kyrie gone there's no way they'd trade him for someone like Bledsoe. And having just won a championship, I'm not sure they'd trade him even if Lebron demanded it. Not that I think he would.
