So far Cavs best offense is miss a shot and then steal the ball from teh Warrior who rebounds it. Even Steph got ripped by LeBron on one.

If you're Cleveland you shot 36% only 11 from LeBron and you're only down 9.

If you're the Warriors Steph and Klay 10 combined 4-13 and you've only shot TWO free throws in the half but you're still up 9.

Who would have thought Lebron would be the weakest link on defense for the Cavs. He gave up 7 to Barnes and another 2 to Ezeli when he didn't switch in transition and gave up a dunk.

.

Tyronn Lue is a smart guy. He realized LeBron was getting caught cheating the whole first quarter so he put him on Steph in the 2nd and he locked in after that.

If they had called a T on iggy there I'd have been ok but you can't expect me to believe Dellavadova was going for the ball? he hit him in the nuts when the ball was almost head high.

Loved Iggy's response thought right in his face calling him a bleeping b*&ch.

Bad quarter but at least the Warriors finished well. My kingdom for some made shots from Klay and Steph

I see nothing in this game to change my opinion from GS in 5 and it won't even be that close. If the Cavs can't hang (outside of one third quarter run) in a game where Curry and Clay are dogmeat, they're screwed.

I'm always nervous but they are up 20 with 5:43 left, Klay and Steph are both in single digits and the Warriors have shot FOUR freethrows in 42 minutes. If you're Cleveland that can't be a good sign.

Very happy for Livingston. For him to come back from the injury that he had and play at this level is an amazing accomplishment. He looked like Penny Hardaway in his prime tonight.

Pretty much what his potential was before the flurry of injuries, including the gruesome one. People forget that he was the most heavily recruited players in his HS class and had a great year at Duke. Dude was supposed to be a perennial all-star and not a role player.

You're combining Livingston and Kyrie. Livingston was right out of HS had the bad knee injury, Kyrie played at Duke.

Yeah I love that Shaun is getting to do this now you forget how good he was before he got hurt.

Livingston and Iggy both played in Illinois they were a few years apart but apparently knew each other as kids.

It didn't just happen for Livingston, he's been playing like this for a few years now. Everyone was mocking the Nets a few years ago until they moved him into the starting lineup alongside Deron Williams and the next thing you know there were in the playoff hunt. His numbers might not have been special but IIRC, they were one of the hottest teams in the league starting right after the holidays. I was really surprised they didn't work harder to keep him, if they tried at all.

Love played 30 more minutes than Frye. Frye was the only rotational play in the positive +/-. I expect him to play significant minutes in g2.

After the intense pressure OKC put on the Warriors, and the Warriors survived, anyone coming up next was going to be a step down in competition. The Cavs, even with LeBron, are not going to put a scare into them like the Thunder did.

Barbosa is one the Suns also should have kept. smh

Yea he looked like crap here in Hornacek's ISO heavy system but he's been balling for the Warriors. I know many GSW fans who loved that pick up and love it more now.

This is what kind of eats at me with the Cavs. I get it, but not a big fan of bringing in top notch players instead of playing against them (ie, Jordan vs Magic or Bird or Barkley, etc). Now its who can build the strongest team to make sure they dominate. On the other side, the Warriors sure seemed to do the opposite and developed an amazing team with their personal.

The Warriors in a way though got lucky. But of course you need luck to be a dynasty but yea. I mean Green was a 2nd round pick who turned into an All Star...what are the chances of that like, below 5% I'd assume. And then they locked up Steph Curry to a cheap contract (due to his ankle issues earlier in his career) which then allowed them to go and get Igoudala in free agency (who then became finals MVP).

Game 1 of Cavs-Warriors earned a 13.1 overnight TV rating, highest Game 1 ever for ABC.

The biggest luck to me was Steph was what the 4th PG picked that year? Hell Minnesota took Flynn and Rubio ahead of him in the same draft. That was VERY lucky.

He might get a flagrant from the little he played last night. He hit Speights in the jaw, if you noticed at the end of the game Speights kept holding his jaw. Apparently Speights is saying it was an intentional elbow. I didn't see it happen but saw Speights reaction afterwards.

Mozgov was really good in the series last year he was quite the rim protector.

W’s death lineup only played 3mins. NetRtg: -2.5
Kerr went a lot more with Livingston over Barnes
