Kyrie is a defensive liability and a subpar distributor.
On paper, it looks like a steal for Phoenix, but I really don't think that'd add anymore victories for us. Bledsoe is a much more well-rounder PG, IMO.
Bledsoe for Kyrie?
Lebron is just a hard player to play with in my opinion. He kind of like a big but he needs to dominate the ball.
Find a third team to take Kyrie and give the Suns something other than a guard. I could see Cleveland, or Lebron, doing the swap but I think Kyrie would be Marbury 2.0 in Phoenix.
Yeah I like Bledsoe to but he's never on the court not in Phoenix or LA he's pretty much missed as many games in his career as he's played. Your banking on him being close with Lebron to get this deal done. Bottom line we need to find a way out of that contract.
Blatt is a bad coach, but Lue is making it look like Blatt had a sliver of a clue last year in the Finals.
No we don't.
The Suns have a $64 million salary hold next season with a projected $90 million cap. It's not likely the Suns are going to land a max contract player, and there isn't anyone of significance from last season's team becoming a free agent.
Bledsoe's talent alone makes him worth keeping around, and of all of the guards, he's the most well-rounded. There literally is no risk and no burden in keeping him on the roster at his salary.

He's had a season ending injury pretty much every other year in his career. You can be the best player in the world if your sitting on the sidelines in a suit it doesn't matter.
How many all NBA teams this guy made? All-Star games? Guys who tear there body up at this rate this early in there career generally don't all of a sudden have long healthy careers.
break out the brooms. this series is over.
sure looks that way. The real championship series was OKC-GS in the Western Conference Finals. The Cavs look pathetically overmatched. At best, it might go like the Raptors-Cavs series with the Cavs winning a game or two at home to make it quasi-respectable. But, no one really thought Toronto could pull off the series even when it was 2-2.
It's not a matter of physical talent, obviously. The Warriors just look way more battle-tested after what they went through to get to the Finals. The Cavs pretty much coasted in the East and they are far too soft mentally to really battle the Warriors the way they need to.
Cavs are also a perfect example of how putting together a few good players is not enough to win it all. Kyrie is a terrible fit with LeBron because he doesn;t understand how to play without the ball, Love has been reduced to standing in the corner waiting for someone to get him the ball, JR Smith has no discipline, and nobody on that team (save for Thompson and to some degree James) can play any defense whatsoever. Iso-ball will only get you so far.
On the other hand, Warriors play as a team. Someone always steps up, there isn;t a terrible defender on the team, and everyone can pass the ball.
Yup... Just an all-around great team. Makes you realize just how far behind our Suns are. [emoji45]

Not really. It was pretty obvious even without watching the Warriors play. It's too bad we have the 6 years behind us that we do as we'd be much better off making long-run decisions now rather than the likely bandaid moves coming down. With good health we really aren't that far from being a playoff team but we are light years away from being a true contender. And I see no one in this year's draft that's going to significantly change our near-term future.
It seems to me that LeBron no longer has an outside shot. Most of his points are slam dunks using his superior strength in the paint. There doesn't seem to be anyone really hitting outside shots consistently for the Cavs.
So a question. A Cleveland fan I know is suggested Green should be assessed a technical for the play where he went up for the runner going left and his right elbow hit JR Smith. The play where Smith couldn't get the rebound because of the contact and Curry passed to Green for the dunk making it 10-8 Cleveland.
He said it keeps happening, it's clearly intentional and should be a T.
I think he was trying to initiate contact to get a foul.
Here's the play.

So is that inadvertent contact while taking the shot or an intentional elbow and a flagrant foul?
Nothing unusual at all about it... When a defenders sticks his nose in tight, shoulder, elbows, hands and the ball can and do easily come into play.
Did Green "intentionally" try to hit Smith with his elbow? Maybe... No doubt he tried to ensure contact was made in order to draw a foul, which, again, is not unusual and happens on just about every drive to the basket in the NBA...
Green does this kind of stuff all the time. He should be penalized for this type of play but the league is apparently giving him impunity for the playoffs.
IMO, teams will be soon going back to the days of having enforcers to stop this type of play.
