The Celtics offense is completely hopeless. Celtics 7 points in the 1st 7 minutes of the 4th quarter.

What an ugly game. Kobe Bryant is playing one of his worst games of his career and the Lakers win nonetheless. Couldn't he have shot like that against Phoenix?

Celtics down 76-81 with 25.7 seconds left in the 4th, Celtics ball. :( The Celtics gave yet another offensive rebounds that led to Kobe making 2 free throws. :(

Ugh. Suns unravel and the Lakers win another stinking title. It's just not right. :(

I like seeing Artest redeem himself, though. Sure, he's crazy, but he's probably only in about the top third of the NBA's biggest jerks. I don't think he's that good a player, frankly, but he was huge in this game. Good for him.

Ray Allen's career as a Celtic is over.

I think Phil Jackson sent Vujacic to the line for those critical free throws thinking, "This is a win-win, because if he misses these, we won't feel guilty for running him out of town on a rail, which everyone wants to do anyway."

I hope to god that Mark Jackson gets a coaching gig so I won't have to listen to him on TV anymore. What a pretentious fool.

Would Jordan have possibly shot so badly in a Finals Game 7? I say no.

My wife is getting sick and tired of me saying the same thing every time I listen to the guy. I've already nominated him for the basketball broadcasting hall of shame. He gets to join such luminaries as Bill Russell, Steve Lavin and George Raveling.

agreed with all of it, even Artest. His first words when interviewed were "I'd like to thank my psychiatrist." That was awesome.

The answer is no. However, Kobe has been worked over physically this entire series and other than early in his career it's something Jordan rarely had to put up with. Still, great as he is, Kobe is no Jordan.

I found myself wondering if I'd really like to see the Suns play like this if it led to a championship. I came to the conclusion that I'd probably celebrate the championship and then never watch another NBA game for as long as I lived. This just isn't my idea of basketball.

it would be infuriating... but worth it for that last moment.

Like I said, I'd celebrate it. And for a few days I'd probably be thrilled. But, honestly, if my choice is watching basketball the way Boston plays and forces their opponents to play or not watching it at all, I'd choose not watching it at all. It would devastate me to walk away from the Suns but I couldn't sit through more than a few games of this crap.

In a van...down by the river.
I don't care if the SUNS send the game back into the stone age with their style of play if it means hanging a championship banner in those rafters(and getting my coffee mug too of course....Devilalum).
