It works in NBA Live!!!

All you have to do is change his height slider to like 7'10" and put his speed to 100%!!!

If only the Suns could figure out a way to make each player have actual working sliders, we'd be unstoppable!!!

:D

and then we can make nate robinson even shorter, but he would still block yao's shot :D

Imagine what Steve Nash could do if he was blessed with Yao's size! :)

How about Magic Johnson's height. :)

The whole argument is irrelevant concerning height except I don't think fans appreciate what Marion has done at only 6'7," both offensively and defensively. They are too quick to criticize Marion's weaknesses when often it is height that limits him.

I know it's a stretch to get him here, but what a happy day it would be for me. KG has always been in my top 3 favorite players in the league, and to somehow find a way to pair him with Amare & Nash.....I can't even put it into words.

Can you even imagine what Marion could do at 7' with his build and jumping ability.

I don't know, fumble layups and get shut down by point guards?

Marion's problem isn't a lack of height. And his vaunted ability to guard the perimeter would go away if you added a couple of inches to him.

Marion can't create, can't pass, can't dribble, and doesn't finish well in traffic. Height is not going to help him in any of these areas.

If Marion were 5" taller he would then be called a PF/C. And he would just simply slap the ball away when someone drives to the basket.

Needless to say we disagree. I just do not know how Marion has lasted in the league this long and received numerous all-star selections playing as poorly as you describe.

:sarcasm:

Uh, because he's a great athlete? I went over this in another thread.

Think Dwight Howard.

I think there are huge number of great athletes that cannot play great or even good basketball. I think this is clear when looking around the NBA and potential draftees who cannot make it in the NBA although they are great athletes.

I don't think this argument holds water.

I can't stress this enough..

I want Garnett, but not if it includes Stat or Barbosa, those two are the future that are just entering their primes....

Any combination of players and picks obviously excluding Nash, I would do in a trade for KG...

The ideal trade is Marion, Banks, KT, #24 and #29, 2008 ATL pick, for Garnett.....

Sign Grant Hill to the Minimum....

PG: Nash/Barbosa
SG: Bell/Barbosa
SF: Hill/JR
PF: Amare/Diaw
C: Garnett/PJ Brown?

Barbosa, Diaw, JR, Brown, coming off the bench will solidfy the bench with solid role players, and we would have the most talented starting 5 in the league.....

the bottom line for me is Marion + Barbosa is too much for Garnett, unless it is them for Garnett straight up, in which case I would at least consider it, although even then I don't know...

Marion + Barbosa + picks should equal Kobe, Wade, LeBron, not a 31 year old Garnett, IMO.....

Think Dwight Howard.
I think Howard would be fine if he had a big man to work with. He has much more room for growth on the offensive end.

Marion, not so much. Marion is Marion....and that's fine too.

I think Kerr knows barbosa/nash/amare are untouchable, plus those dont help the salary matching

Im assuming we wouldhave to sacrifice marion, thomas and a lot of draft picks in some sort of 3 way with boston

Barbosa has been good, but to stop a trade to add Garnett because you dont wanna lose Barbosa is crazy IMO.

Garnett is in top shap with no inury problems to make him age quickly. So what if he is 31 he has an EASY 5 years of top play.

I trade anyone on the team not named Amare to get him.

I like Garnett, but all I'm saying is if Marion was a 7' PF/C the Suns would already have a Championship(s). Tell me that's not true. Can you even imagine what Marion could do at 7' with his build and jumping ability.

If he could shoot and post up it would even be better! :)

I'll admit I've seen very little of Howard. Are his fundamentals as bad as Marion's? I'm not saying they aren't; I just don't know.

Howard is great at boxing out. That makes him a great rebounder and the addition of his athleticism makes him elite. I'm not sure about the rest of his fundamentals.

his defense is great for someone of his age and time in the league, he can dunk over anyone (see when he dunked over duncan), but his offensive game needs a little bit of polishing
