Sorry man, but the ball is not placed at the spot of the fumble. It should be placed where it went out of bounds.

USC commited far more penalities.

:biglaugh:

Look, you obviously hate Notre Dame. That's cool. But that doesn't mean you have to try and ignore reality.

Actually, I'd rather have seen Notre Dame win. I'm not a fan of either team, so I wanted the underdog to win. I was talking about the penalty totals for the game. USC had more flags and yards.

The ball should have been placed where it went out of bounds, not forward progress. The Bush push was a penalty. Every single post play celebratrion could have been called. USC has displaced U of Miami as kings of "look at me". Leinhart is way overhyped. BTW. Notre Dame's defense sucks. Nice offense.

My Top Four

1. Texas
2. Va Tech
3. Georgia
4.USC

I'd go with Texas and Va Tech over USC, but I don't know about Georgia. I think USC will lose before the season is over. Their defense is not nearly as good as last year and this habit of spotting teams leads will catch up to them.

They've lost so many key starters on defense the last 2 years I completely agree they just aren't nearly as good.

I thought Cal might beat them but the last 2 weeks have really exposed Joe Ayoob as a QB and Cal has so many injuries now I don't see them having a prayer against USC. I think they still might be able to run on USC but they're not going to be able to exploit them much in the air with Ayoob missing open guys and DeSean Jackson playing with one hand because his right shoulder is injured.

I guess someone forgot to tell Ayoob the Tedford system can make anybody look good.

No way you can rate GA ahead of USC - and I have to keep USC #1 until proven otherwise (i.e. they lose).

And the refs were soo pro-Notre Dame is was disgusting....

I gave Georgia the nod because I think the SEC is stronger than the Pac 10. Time will sort this poll out.

 Pac 10 officials out to get USC?

Actually re watch the first half and tell me what you think. I was at the game and i was a little disgusted by the obvious subjective calls that seemed to be going one way. Even on the OBVIOUS infraction of hitting Bush after a fair catch, notice how the ref thinks about it for like 5 seconds before he realizes he HAS to make the call.

They might be Pac-10 officals but that doesn't mean they have an allegiance ot the conference they work in. In fact the NCAA who technically employs them would have been VERY happy with ND winning that game.

It turns out Carroll must have lit into the team at the half about letting officials even have a chance to call penalties b/c it ceased from that point on. Plus the officials could have def. thrown a flag when Bush pushed Lienert into the end zone. Still at the half as an impartial fan i thought SC was getting hosed.

This is just ludicrous.

That is just disrespectful of the mystique of ND, their coachs ability as a game planner (did u know he talked to belichek in the week before the game?) and the players that team has. As i said previously, i attended the game and NO OTHER team wins that game with those circumstances. And that i promise you.

If anything it says how good ND is with two weeks, fan emotion behind them and national hype. You might not think this but SC played their best game of the season that day. So did ND. It turned out that it was just enough. It was just great players making great plays and a great coaching chess match. ND didn't lose that game, they just got outlasted. Without a doubt the best and most important sporting event I have ever attended....

Incidentally Wally, even though i dont agree with you on this subject, I just moved to Boca Raton a couple months ago. How do you like living there?

Reggie Bush admitted that he illegaly pushed Leinhart in to the endzone. Yeah Nortedame did get some calls called for them but the refs realy screwed up that last 10 seconds. I cant wait till Usc loses and I hope its to the worst team left on there schedule so they look bad.

That would be this Saturday when they play Washington. That would be one hell of a great upset! I'd love to see it happen.

It has its upside and downside. The city itself is great. Most of the people are pretentious pompous ass clowns...... but I haven't found anyplace better around here.
