LOL! Probably true, I heard that there were 2 boosters that were going to pitch in 20 mil a piece for the new stadium addition. Not sure what the stipulations were.

Bowl games are a major part of recruiting. This is when you show the kids what you are all about. Don't introduce them to one coach, then fire him and bring in someone new between then and signing day.

Sorry, Section, but this is not with my dislike of Nebraska in mind. That's just personal animosity. This just reeks of idiocy and childishness. Puts Nebraska up there with the Miami's of the college world.

Give me a break! One of the reasons the fired him was recruiting. And waiting till after the bowl game (Plus the fact that Nebraska has a law that says the postition has to be open 2 weeks before being filled) they would put themselves real close to LOI day. They need to name a coach and salvage what they can. Solich is not the reason they are 9-3 he is not calling the plays, there are 6 new coaches on staff and they are calling all the plays, they are the reason for the somewhat turn around from 7-7 last year.

I didn't realize Butch Davis' name has been rumored for Lincoln. Somehow, I cannot see the old warden from Miami being given the nod in LIncoln.

1. Butch Davis, Browns -- It's been pretty disappointing in a year where the division was up for grabs. It's not likely anything will happen, but it's interesting to hear Davis' name linked to speculation about the Nebraska job
