on an all new Necessary Roughness... **** happens. Watch.

Now, if you'll excuse me, i have to get back to work... on the field... at the Georgia Dome... with a very special guest star... on the season finale which I co-wrote.

BEST. DAY. EVER.

Another good one. Although I'm still not feeling the old teacher character.

Who played the boxer?

Nico is by far my favorite character.

Agreed on all points. There is no chemistry between her and the teacher. I was fully expecting him to have to leave early for Africa, and that would have killed that story line perfectly--as in now. It has no pop.

That said, it was a great episode. It was a bit predictable that the dude was her father, but it was played out quite well. Also, Matt's girlfriend is just a manipulative chick, and I'm glad he has finally seen that. I just hope they don't push him and Dani together again because, like I said, she has to end up with Nico ;)

again, thanks for the continued support AND critical analysis. always good to know what the audience thinks is NOT working just as much as what is.

next week's my favorite episode since the pilot. As the super-fans all us morons on this board are, y'all will dig it for sure.

we got really, REALLY good **** coming in the last three episodes all leading up to the epic explosive season finale...

BOOM.

also, can I just say that i love that we have dudes invested in who will Dani choose? that cracks me up and means we're doing something really right.

Don't get too excited, Cheesie...I like chick flicks. Good ones, mind you, like MBFGW, Bridget Jones 1, Love Actually, and Casablanca (yeah, I said it), but chick flicks nonetheless.

OK, speaking as a female, I love JD. I really like the chemistry he has with Dani -- he's strong, male, and dominant but not dominating or overpowering. DO NOT **** HIM UP. If it doesn't work out with Dani, just don't make him into a bad guy or a loser, please. Admittedly, as a psychologist, he has a particular intellectual appeal and I think Dani needs someone with a real life of the mind. However, I like Nico, too; some similar qualities to JD. The trainer dude, Matt -- not gonna happen. No sparks. Too indecisive, too lightweight. Wistful best buddy kind of thing.

Liking your show a whole lot, cheese.

just a side note, having been down in Atlanta for shooting this past week, I'm happy to report that not only is our cast fanastic actors, but they're GREAT people too. Scott (Nico) and Callie (Dani) are both really cool, Mechad's (TK) pretty hilarious and Blucas (Matt) is a total guy's guy... even if he's a Spurs AND Steelers fan.

Front runner.

yeah... only he's got legitimate reasons for both. He's Tim Duncan's best friend (started with him at SG at Wake Forrest) and is from Pittsburg. But yeah, he showed up to the set today with a Steelers hat on and I just looked at him and said "Marc, you're killing me here."

Had some pretty interesting insights on the Suns-Spurs rivalry. Lots of information that confirmed a lot of my suspicions on how the Spurs regarded us and how they were coached to beat us.

Bumpiddy, Bump, BUMP!

Tonight, on an all new NECESSARY ROUGHNESS, Dani helps the Hawks' and their suicidal mascot get over the playoff curse that's haunted them for six years. TK meets his match off the field and Dani's relationship with J.D. heats up.

Seriously, Cardinals fans, Cub fans... hell, ANY Sports fan will dig this episode. It's my favorite since the pilot.

And TODAY on the set of Necessary Roughness, production officially wraps for the season. Not bittersweet... just sweet.
