This felt like one of the best episodes of the season. Really, really well written and acted.

NICE! Yeah, like i said, this was my favorite since the pilot and i hear 110 (the next one) is really good. And if the season finale is 1/10 as awesome as the time I've had making it, it should be a great finish to the season!

Absolutely loved last nights episode. My wife and I got a bunch of good laughs out of it. One of the best episodes so far!

Funny thing was I kept noticing stupid things. Like when they were eating dinner at I think Mortons? I noticed a line of Silver Oak bottles even though they were completely blurred in the background. Mmmmm Silver Oak!!!!! Made me go crack open a bottle from my wine fridge.

It's playing on the DVR in the next room right now (for the credit, I probably won't see it until this weekend).

Jeesh, the things I do for you, Cheese.

It was a good episode.

(SPOILER)

Awww... bummer about the love life thing, even though done rather nicely. The look on Dani's face was done perfectly, and nearly broke my heart. And since it seems pretty obvious you can't lock her up with Matt or Nico without closing down too many options, I guess we'll see her get put through a few more of these unsuccessful romances.

Still need to catch up on the last three episodes, but I am definitely feeling Nico and Dani. I actually like Laura and Matt together (so far), but she definitely has it in for Dani.

I caught a few minutes of the ep where Orlando guest stars, and I fell off my chair laughing when Dani sees her old professor and he asks if she's on facebook. She gets all flustered and is like, "I don't have many friends... and my mother's my friend, but I can't de-friend her" or something to that effect. LAUGHED MY ASS OFF.

Anyhoo, I will catch the rest of the episodes hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

I like Nico.

OKAY! I am all caught up. Cheese you keep saying BOOM and then the previews has Nico saying the owner's wife is going to drop a bomb. I am nervous! A la Dodgers fiasco?

Anyhoo, I am still very very much digging the show. Dani's kids have gotten less-annoying which is fantastic. I really liked the Orlando Jones arc. I liked how the hot professor and Dani ended their relationship. Sometimes there doesn't need to be drama, and sometimes things just end because "that's what happens sometimes" or whatever he said at the end, which was a great quote. I am with Zenny and that was done really well.

I like the mix of the Dani working with the Hawks and having other non Hawks related clients, too. My only gripe is that sometimes the patients are too hostile towards her/therapy. I understand not everyone is agreeable to therapy, but sometimes they can be too over the top hostile when Dani asks the tough questions. Minor gripe on my part, I know. (edit, this pertains to the other patients, not TK).

What else, what else.... Yeah, I love Nico. I like the mystery behind him and the little breadcrumbs we've come to know about him (Pittsburgh, divorced). I am with Zenny (again) and think Matt and Dani don't work as much as Dani and Nico do. And since I am very much a chick who loves to "ship" relationships on TV shows, I really hope Nico and Dani are endgame :)

BTW, loved the Arizona reference, having AZ beat the Hawks to start the curse. Yay Arizona!

I haven't been paying attention to the news, has NR been picked up for season 2? I would think yes, no? Are you guys gonna do the split thing like Burn Notice does (6-12 episodes in the summer, the the rest in the winter time?) If not, then ASFN must start a fan petition!

Also, please have TK shirtless and wet every episode, thanks.

you'll see what "BOOM!" means soon enough!

nice! Yeah, we were really trying to go for an honest moment there... not some big dramatic break-up, but just something that happens between people when you're not the one, but not a jerk either.

and a fair criticism. one we're aware of moving into season 2.

it's tv, right? if I can't make Arizona winners in fantasy land, where the hell else can i?

I haven't been paying attention to the news, has NR been picked up for season 2? I would think yes, no?

you would think so! but, no. our numbers have been very good, we're one of the top 3 new shows of the summer, but they're making us sweat it out. boss tells me we'll get the pick-up on Tuesday, but this is like g-damn chinese water torture waiting for it to happen!

Are you guys gonna do the split thing like Burn Notice does (6-12 episodes in the summer, the the rest in the winter time?)

yeah, when we get season 2, it'll likely be an order for 16 episodes with a mid-season split like USA's other show.

If not, then ASFN must start a fan petition!

hell yes.

Also, please have TK shirtless and wet every episode, thanks.

just wait for the season finale. your wish is my command.

Oh no you don't, Kate. I'm the one that first talked up the Dani-Nico angle...no one's going to steal Stout's thunder :) It is very telling, too, that Cheese has completely ignored that...because he doesn't want to give it away :D

Sorry Stout, love you mucho, but consider your thunder stolen. I wrote about him and Dani on page 7 of this thread... and you.... page 8 ;)

And yes, his silence is verrrrrrrrry interesting. I do not expect Dani and Nico to get together anytime soon, but I like this nice slow building up thing :D

boss tells me we'll get the pick-up on Tuesday,

Awesome!!! Congrats to you and your team. Isn't the percentage of shows that actually get picked up by a network like ridiculously low? And of the shows that get picked up for the pilot that actually get a season's order is even lower, etc.? This is fantastic!

yup... although USA is TV's version of Pixar right now. They've gone seven straight shows going to season 2 and all have been big hits or decent hits.

I'm excited for that but it sucks when all the Summer shows end, this was actually something I watched on a weekly basis.

Turn this thing into a fall show too Cheese, make it happen!

Loved this week's episode, but I was a little unclear on the Nico-Owner's wife thing. In her bedroom, it seemed like he hadn't hit that the night before, but then they kiss, and he made that cryptic 2-times falling off the wagon remark. I'm assuming that means they hooked up twice before? I'm hard of hearing too, so that doesn't help sometimes. Is this the gist of it? If so, I don't like it. I love the Nico character, and I know it is nice to give him some weaknesses, but if he's hooked up with the owner's wife, that isn't a weakness--that puts him in douchebag city.
