No he wasn't. A lot of his shots were midrange jumpers.

Stil he was bad, defensively and offensively. A couple of times he had to shoot it because of the clock but he did not look comfortable on any shots.

I think Humphries is trying to play like a stretch 4. IMO, this may be going through his mind. He needs to keep to his comfort zone... rebound, get some garbage points and hit the open mid-range shot. He is not a Channing Frye.

I had to google him. I don't watch TV shows for the most part. I watch my TV frequently but it's usually basketball or something on Netflix so I'm out of touch with today's programming. Even after googling I'm not quite sure what the connection was other than the obvious, survival.

I think this part of your post triggered it, at least with me.

That line about the people being so thirsty crawling through the desert that they'll drink the sand if they can't find water. I think that's where we're at, we're stuck in the desert and Weems was just another glass of sand.

I watch the program when nothing much else is on. I love the outdoors so I think a few survival tips can't hurt.

Hmmm. It was Tom Chamber who made the comment that most of Humphrey's rebounds early on were from his missed shots.

Perhaps he was being facetious. TC was really furious about the Suns pathetic defense.

Did he? I didn't even know he got a second opinion and such.

Yeah the Suns TV crew mentioned it about a month ago. I could be wrong but I don't think they referred to it as a sports hernia until after the second specialist. Here's an attributed quote I just found on it from CBS Sports "Knight underwent a second opinion on his strained groin in Los Angeles on Saturday, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports." They went on to say he originally injured it around the new year but played through it because we were missing Price and Bledsoe. But he further aggravated it going for a dunk against the Pacers (1-19) and that prompted the trip to a specialist.

Knight isn't playing because the Suns are tanking the season. Bickley said that on his radio show this afternoon.

Maybe. At some point he will be healthy enough to play and they probably won't use him (much) but it remains to be seen whether we've reached that point. Bickley sometimes gets inside information and sometime he just spouts off. And sports hernias are tricky things, they can almost be gone and return with a vengeance if they haven't fully healed. There's zero reason for him to come back until it's completely healed and I doubt we're there yet. I'll take the Suns announcing crew over Bickley on this.
