Monty overplaying our starters. Paul with 21 first half minutes is a tremendous issue. James jones can’t be happy with what we got if payne is out much longer.
Meanwhile, Kerr gave his main guys another night off and they won anyway.

I feel like we’ve seen this story before, with Monty running guys into the ground ala Pringles and Kerr doing what’s necessary in the regular to rest guys so they’re fresh in the playoffs ala Pop. We also know how that story played out in the post-season. It would ROYALLY suck to suffer the same fate.

They can’t keep playing Paul this many minutes. Everyone else? They’re all still basically babies out there. Run ‘em all season. But eventually, this might catch up with Paul and if that results in any extended time missed, this team is in big trouble.

How do you expect them to do this right now with Cam injured? Like it or not you are talking about MORE minutes for Elfrid Payton.

I know this might sound off topic but I am watching the game and reading this thread. I like the comments that gets thrown around and the back and forth between members here.

I wonder if there is a VR option to where we can watch games together. I always see the back and forth between people and find it entertaining. Would be cool to hear it during the game live.

It's up to James Jones to fix the guard position.

There used to be a chatroom back in the day... don't know if that's still a thing.

I’m talking about sacrificing wins during the season so you’re fresh for the post-season. You can do that one of two ways. You give Payton more time knowing it might make games tougher to win, or you just give CP3 a night off every now and then.

Same way Kerr and GS is doing.

What you don’t do is run Paul into the ground for a month straight which is the way we’ve been going with Payne and likely will keep doing because I’m guessing Payne is out until after all star break.

No one cares who won the most games in the regular season. Does anyone celebrate Utah’s 52 wins last season? No. We need to stop treating the 1 seed like it’s the holy grail.

It’s one of the flaws of this team. It’s REALLY PG dependent because other than book, CP, and Payne no one else can consistently generate their own shot. Monty has to figure out a way to manufacture points without a Paul or Payne in the game. The ideal would be dumping into a dominant post player, but . . . well . . . yeah . . .

Home court advantage was nice until the Finals.

Oh man, as entertain as that might be I think it may be result in murder. Add tone and body language to some of the verbal jousting? Lol.

We come out looking flat as a pancake.

Should take a timeout.
