Just watched Blake try and get the two yards on 4th down. Man is he awful. I'm afraid that GB game was an aberation. I'm afraid we won't win another game this season. I can't believe Mac will still be the coach after the bye.

Yeah well that just proves how dumb the Cardinals are for not keeping these players

Jake Plummer 9 TD's 2 Int's
Simeon Rice 4 sacks TODAY
Mario Fatehfehi 2 SACKS
David Boston last week 12 rec almost 200 yards 2 TD
Micheal Pittman

The list keeps going!!! GOOD JOB CARDINALS!!! THATS WHY WE WILL ALWAYS BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST

If you like Jake so much than go be a freaking Denver fan.

JAKE IS NO LONGER A CARDINAL. Cry me a river, build a bridge and GET OVER IT. Seriously.

Denver's success is due to Clinton Portis and NOT Jake Plummer.

GAH!

The problem is at key production positions we have no viable backups.

We cannot bench Blake and he knows it he is just out there doing whatever he feels like. He wouldn't pull that on a competitive team cause they would have someone sit his butt for that crap.

This coaching staff needs some nads to sit someone when they screw up there is no message being sent about screw ups, I don't care how loud they yell in the locker room if they don't sit them down it does NOTHING!!!

Right now Blake should sit but he wont.

I don't know why I bother since Blake nearly drove me to drink today with the picks(I don't drink) but. After 6 games playing with this makeshift WR group and a bad OL he has 7 TD's and 9 picks and in my opinion has played poorly.

AFter 6 games last year with the starting WR's(boston playing hurt) and the OL playing MUCH better, Jake had 6 Td's and 9 picks.

Blake is doing nothing Jake didn't do, the frustrating thing is BLake hasn't done this crap in his career and suddenly this appears to be the real Blake and not an aberration as I figured early in the year.

Your just pissed off...Blake is a much better QB than Plummer and you know it. Yes he has played poorly lately but he still comands the offense better and is more acurate than Plummer...

I dont want to argue about this because the Cards problem, to me, is far from the QB position. That, to me, is the least of their worries...

Not really. Portis has been hurt most of the year and jake has still gotten the job done. BTW isnt it a team sport? Plummer does not have to be the success he just has to do his role just like every other player. His role is not to make mistakes that will cost the team and he hasnt yet.

If these players were still Arizona Cardinals David Boston and possibly Rice are the only two we would want. And each of those guys would be pissing and moaning because they would still be losing. This is just a bad team with bad coaching, minimal overall talent, bad ownership and management, and one of the worst reputations in professional sports.

It's just a bad situation all the way around.

So you want them to be happy when they lose? I dont get it. Players should moan when they lose every year. Who wants to lose?

You are correct - it is a team sport. And Clinton Portis isn't the whole team - but I think he's been a bigger reason for their success than Jake. Jake continues to make the same mistakes but his supporting cast has bailed him out, so it's not that costly. He's had one really good game thus far (that one Monday Night game) ... but nothing that really screams out "Pro Bowl."

You are right about him having to play his role. And he is. I just dont agree with Azwins23 that he is a Pro-Bowl QB.

Dare I say, that if Jake was here this year his stats would be the same if not worse.

There was something that I heard before the first game of the year. It was a FOX announcer talking about the Eagles. They said that the Eagles could take anybody and put them in their defense because of the defensive system they have in place.

True or not, the great teams have great systems. Which makes retooling alot easier. Denver has a Great system! As todays game showed. The offense preformed the same with Beuerlien as it did with Plummer. If Blake was in Denver his stats would be much improved.

Doesn't that mean both of Denver's ex-Cardinal qb's (Plummer AND Beuerlien) are Pro-Bowl caliber then? Using AzWins23's logic, of course...

And Michael Pittman is a freaking wife-beater. Glad he's not here, the loser!

I'm talking recent weeks not yesterday. Blake pretty much lost the game by himself yesterday and nobody is more frustrated with that than me.

8 and 3 not 9 and 2, we gave him 6 years, he didn't do it. Blake's start this year is actually better than Jake's start last year.

Blake isn't playing well and we all see that but you put Jake in there with this team and his numbers are as bad or worse than they were his first 6 years.

at least this team can actually move the ball on offense, we just keep turning it over. With Jake we couldn't move it, AND we turned it over.

Did you watch the game?

The Bronco offense floundered most of the day. They won in spite of Beuerlein not because of him. He threw 2 bad interceptions and was sacked a few times. The Broncos were lucky to win against a mediocre Steeler team.

Jake can't carry a team but he really gives the Broncos a spark.

Pittsburgh entered the game ranked #1 in total defense, but yes Beuerlein struggled.

I don't think it was coincidence they sat Jake that game, they knew he wasn't 100% and didn't want to take the risk of him getting hit again and they knew if he stayed in the pocket he'd have trouble with the Steeler defense.
