There will be new leaders emerging in the Lenawee County softball scene.
Clinton's Kendall Phillip is now at Michigan Dearborn, Blissfield's Bella Treloar is at Alma and Clinton coach Kim Phillip stepped down after 12 years as head coach and seven as an assistant under Al Roberts to watch her kids play at the college softball and high school baseball level.
Here's a look at the headlines going into the new season:
Phillip has moved on after repeating as Lenawee County Softball Player of the Year as has Lenawee County Pitcher of the Year in Treloar.
There were many other First Team All-County members who also graduated, but there still a few looking to take the titles.
Clinton senior Taryn Hernandez is one to watch for as she has the ability to take either title this season. She'll be looking to lead the Redwolves as they transition to a new head coach Lisa Roberts along with First Team All-County member, junior Annabelle Preston, sophomore second-teamer Kaylin Sposite, senior honorable mention Raven Aldridge and sophomore honorable mention Lola Szczesniak.
Hudson has a big group of returners to challenge Clinton in the LCAA. Leading the Tigers will be junior Taylor Kopin, who was a First Team All-County selection a year ago.
Returning alongside Kopin is a group of honorable mentions looking to take a step up with sophomore Ryen Rogers, juniors Sam Anderson and Brooke Clark and seniors Teagan Arredondo and Malia Grayer.
In the TCC, Sand Creek has senior Madeline Osburn returning as the Aggies' First Team All-County member while Makenna Wheeler is back as another senior leader who earned second team honors, as did junior Lily Hawkins.
When talking about the TCC, Morenci always come to mind as well and the Bulldogs have returning First Team All-County member, senior Zoey Martinez.
There are four new coaches in county with Addison, Britton Deerfield, Clinton and Onsted all going through offseason changes.
Jessica McNett is now leading in Addison while Stacy Johnson takes charge of BD, Roberts in Clinton and Randy Hutchinson in Onsted.
Roberts takes over the premier softball program in the area after assisting Phillip the last two seasons and has five returning all-county honorees. Clinton should be right in the mix for the LCAA once again.
Clinton was the only softball team to win a district title in 2024 as Lenawee's 11 teams were jammed into four districts.
This season is a little more spread out as there are six different districts this season in Lenawee.
Adrian plays host to one in Division 2, which includes Tecumseh and Monroe County's Dundee and Milan, which made the Division 2 semifinal last season.
In Division 3, Clinton will look for a third-straight district when the Redwolves head to Napoleon to take on the host Pirates, Columbia Central and fellow LCAA member Onsted.
Lenawee is guaranteed at least one champion as the Sand Creek Division 3 district consists of four county teams. Joining the Aggies in what should be an exciting afternoon of softball will be Blissfield, Hudson and Madison.
There are three Lenawee County teams in Division 4 and all have its' own district.
Addison, which won titles in 2022 and 2023, are at North Adams Jerome and also includes Manchester and Vandercook Lake.
Morenci is in a three-team district at Pittsford along with Waldron. The Bulldogs will be in the hunt for their first district win since 2021.
Britton Deerfield will go to Riverview Gabriel Richard in a district consisting of two defending district champs in host Gabriel Richard and Summerfield while Taylor Trillium will also be in the mix.
