Also came a play after an obvious intentional grounding in Berco's own end zone. Should've been a safety. Huge break for ASU.

Yup... I really can't put my finger on the incredible degree of ineptitude that is spewing from this team, particularly the offense. My thoughts are:

- DJ Foster is amazingly brittle. The dude literally comes up lame just from tying his shoes!

- Berco is simply not good. We may have been lulled into a false sense of belief in him last season when he was just tossing the ball around to Strong...

- Norvell is simply not that good. I mean, if we can see the short-comings of this offense, why can't he? Why does he continue to call plays and run an offense that doesn't come close to matching the skill-set of the players??

I've got to say this is what bothers me the most about this years Sun Devils. Norvell had all off-season to tailor the offense to Berco's abilities, but instead he is still running the same offense that they ran with Taylor Kelly.

Not good. :doi:

And another thing; and this is not specific to ASU but all college football; enough with calling the WR bubble screen every series! Defenses have adjusted and it just doesn't have the impact nor success it previously had.
