A "fine college QB"? Are you kidding me? Do I need to remind you that he has a trophy that sets him slightly above the "fine" standard?

How much heart do you think this guy has shown to come back from consecutive ACL tears to perform at the level that he has for the last two years?

I'd be willing to wager that he'll be a first day draft pick.

Perhaps your dislike for the Oklahoma program is jading your thinking here Cheese.

Oooohh The heisman trophy (which by all accounts everyone said Fitz should have won last year, but they wouldn't givce it to a sophomore). But even so - You know what other "fine" college QB's have held up that precious metal? Gino Toretta, Danny Weurffel - other GREAT college QB's who NEVER MADE IT TO THE SHOW - oh wait - you called for a wager - HOW MUCH? I'll lay 200 against you Crimson.

And what makes you think I dislike Oklahoma? I love Adrian Peterson and think Bob Stopps is awesome. I just don't like weak armed college QB's. I don't care about heart ... by itself. But int his league you need heart AND TALENT.

Again - pu your money where your mouth is - I'll lay 200 against you that he doesn't get picked int he first day.

The only argument against your theory is Rivers.Somehow that weak armed QB got picked in the top 5.Of course, he going to be the biggest bust of the class.I bet SD wish they could have a mulligan on that pick.

Yeah but at least Rivers was 6'5 wasn't he? How tall is White? I also think he's gonna be a colassal bust.

6'3" 226, he's got a better arm than you're giving him credit for but yeah he does not have a gun. I would say he has an average NFL arm, not great but not a weak arm.

His problem is simple, he's 24 and has had multiple surgeries on both knees and NFL scouts don't pick guys that age with that history of injuries very high.

I say Brees or Kitna. None of the QB draft prospect impress me all that much.
I also just read an article today out of Minnesota that said Denny is going after Bennet and Hovan this offseason. Hovan has a Killer Instinct I think would mesh well with Berry and Dockett, and is a FA that will not return to Minne.

I would be thrilled and do back flips if some how next offseason. The cards could get Brooks, Bennett and Hovan!!!! That is my Cardinal dream

Multiple surgeries on both knees?

Try one surgery apiece on each knee. And, he went all of last season with out a lot of trouble. This year, he's not even wearing knee braces. When he runs, he's not jake the snake, but he's mobile enough to not be a sitting duck.

I'm not going to debate you guys on how good White will be in the pros, because its a crap shoot. I'm no NFL scout.

However, I do know that somebody is going to give him a shot. And I think his career numbers and measurables (provided that he can run a decent 40 time) will take him off the board by the end of the first day in the next draft.

Cheese, my gambling budget is very limited. I'm afraid the most I can go is pizza (if your interested.).
