I was right about the China thing with Earl Barron:

Earl Barron, headed for a Chinese team 3 weeks ago, was back with Bakersfield tonight. Posts 20 & 15. Interesting timing if Suns need a big.

Maybe Brown needs more time in the D-League as this is only his second game there coming back from injury. However, Earl Barron is an option. I was shocked because I recently heard he signed in China.

Alec Brown needs a few years and 40-50 lbs before he is ready to play in the NBA. He is not the answer for backup minutes this season or next. Clearly the Suns will have to address the lack of bigs in the offseason. They'll have some cash and the draft to do it with.

Personally I would love to let our medical staff get their hands on Granger. Guy was a flat out stud before his injuries. Also in college he carried his team. He's older, and the injuries are right about that time where he naturally might be getting better, and now would probably be a good time for our staff to get their hands on him. Maybe they can't turn him around at all, or maybe they could turn him into a valuable rotation piece. Worth a shot imo.

I think you will find, except for Brandon Knight, all the players the Suns received today are on expiring contracts who the Suns may or may not keep on the roster. The Suns will have to look for balance in the off season. They will have a sizable amount of money to offer in FA plus their first and second round draft picks. Also Alec Brown might help some next season. Who knows, maybe there will be more trades in the summer.

I get the pieces other than Knight are gone after this season but the log jam at PG-SG-SF didn't get solved and now there are only 4 true post players on the roster (if you include Marcus).

Good to have the cap space, who would you go after? Personally I go after Jordan or Love as a back up plan.

Hopefully, Bledsoe can attract some interest and bring in a decent haul as I think Knight is the better PG prospect.

I doubt he's gonna want as much as Bledsoe but be prepared to have us tie up a significant amount of money in two undersized guards. I'd be shouting from the rooftops if we traded Bledsoe this summer for some pieces and keep Knight, Warren, and Len to build around.

I would be alright with starting with those 3, maybe convince Love to sign here and add depth through the draft. Depends on whether or not PHX can find a taker for Bledsoe and his contract.

Have there been anymore reports on what we plan to do with Granger? I have been out of the loop all day today.

Barron doesn't look like he belongs on an NBA court but he's great in the D league. I think I'd go with Robinson because he's young enough to stick a while if - against the odds - the light does come on.

My first choice would be Jeff Adrien who Minny cut six weeks ago. Think of a little younger, more sane Reggie Evans. Heightwise (6'7, 250 lbs) he's a tweener but one heck of a rebounder and his rim protection stats were good while he played for the Wolves. He could be lurking somewhere in the D-League... but probably not on our radar.

Babby said that they don't know - as of this mornings press conference - whether Granger would report to the team but if he chooses to, they will give him a trial. He didn't sound enthusiastic but he wasn't negative either.

Maybe he can rehab with Emeka Okafor. That worked out pretty well.

That 3 years stretch he looked like he broke out and was headed to big things. I say, it's worth giving our medical staff a chance to see what they can do. There are no untouchable forwards on this team IMO so why not? He also played some time at SG right?

Granger is building his dream home in Arizona right now.

He planned on retiring in AZ so unlikel Emeka Okafor, Granger might actually want to be here despite not having much of a role on the team.
