Not happy about Canaan being out, not a good sign for his future with the team. I still believe he's the best option on the roster to be our starting PG on opening night but we'll see.

I was surprised Melton was mentioned in the GM survey as one of the players named for the best off season acquisition, or something like that. I can't recall the category but he was listed with the "others" which seemed to be players who got 1 or 2 votes. I believe voting is the same as the player survey where you can't vote for yourself but you can't vote for your team in this case and if it wasn't McD who said it, I wonder who did.

Edit - it was underrated off season acquisition, which seemed odd since most everyone else named was a legit NBA player. Ariza received a good percentage of votes in that category.

As long as Kokoskov is optimistic about Canaan playing as early as Friday, so am I. A still think a healthy Canaan could start as you mentioned.

I hope Melton gets some run today. Would rather see Melton/Okobo than Shaq.

I want to get a look at Melton as well.

If the Suns do not trade for a PG soon, I could be happy with Canaan, Okobo and Melton. I've always looked at Harrison as a specialty PG who is best brought off the bench to wear an opponent down on defense. It would be great to keep him if the Suns have room on their roster. Perhaps the Suns carry a fourth PG until the situation resolves itself. Perhaps Melton spends time in the G-League.

OK, I bought NBA League Pass, when I click on the Suns game either Oct 1 or Oct 3 game, it brings up a headline with both teams, on a background of the stadium, but absolutely nothing happens. No warning of blackout. The Oct 1 game there is no replay 3 hours later, like advertised. Is this what happens for anyone else with NBA League Pass?
