That was an NBA dive to the basket by Shaq for 2. Missed the FT.

Ayton goes out with 13 points and 10 rebounds with 4:46 in the 2nd quarter.

I like Holmes. Hasn't done anything great but has made a lot of good moves and seems to get in position well. He has a solid understanding of the game, I think. I was a little worried by the Chriss comparisons but I see that was athleticism more than anything else.

Jackson doesn’t look like he can handle playmaking responsibilities. Just not smart enough at this point.

I wouldn't say smart enough, I would say calm enough. He tries to hit home runs every time he has the chance. He needs to pick his spots and realize he can make the simple play and that's fine.

Making simple passes that are just stupid and lead to turnovers isn’t about being calm. His simple passes end up in turnovers. Late decisions. Just not ready for that.

Okobo reminds me of Barbosa, a lot. He's not a PG and seems too caught up in trying to become one.

I like how EJ threw some shade at the Suns PG by saying how it looked like the NZ PG's were auditioning for jobs with the Suns, knowing we needed one. I'm surprised they've scored 52 this half without a real PG. Ayton got his, which was good to see, the rest was bad defense that allowed easy shots it seemed. Not much play making.

Based on the preseason thus far, Okobo and Melton look like the 3rd and 4th point guards respectively.

I can see Ayton scoring 20 a game, even without a PG. Players know to get him the ball. Booker will get 25+ also. Other than that, who knows. I can see those 2 being responsible for another 10-15 points a game setting up others, either when they don't have a shot or just see something, but the offense outside of those 2 will need help.

THIS is the Ayton I was hoping to see at Summer League. He has 13 and 10 in the first half and didn't look like he was breaking a sweat. Fantastic.

Wait until he actually learns how to play the game.
