Good luck to you and your rams mojo!
Thx Ronin you're a classy fan

2 days away.....im not sure if im getting pumped or nervous!

My keys to the game:
1) Beat the ever-loving crap out of whoever's playing QB(Whitehurst).
2) Score pts early, taking the 12th man out of the picture.
3) Get SJ39 involved in the passing game.
4) Don't sit on a lead....its a road game and Seattle won't quit.

Chris Long on the Rams /Seattle game being moved to Sunday night prime time: "Sunday night football...back then they didn't want us. Now we hot....they all on us."

Basically i think that if the Rams offense is able to put up 10 quick points(and shush the 12th man early) we'll be in the drivers seat. I'm very concerned about Spags' pattern of shutting down the offense if we're headed into the 2nd half with a lead. I think we'll have to score at least 24 points to escape Seattle with a win.

I'm concerned with Seattle's speed in a couple areas....Leon Washington could ruin this game for us within the span of .08 seconds on ST's.
Justin Forsett is the type of back that has given our Dfense trouble all year.
Our defense has been very good at times vs the run,but we are very slow and weak at OLB,which has caused us to occasionally get gashed by the little speed backs. I think our front 4 gets to the QB often on Sunday....

Offensively Sam is gonna have to be better than average to get it done. Our interior OLine has struggled to open up holes for SJ lately,so Sam is going to have to put the ball in the air....alot IMO. This plays into the hands of Seattle's 12th man,so i'd like to see OC Pat Shurmur get SJ more involved in the short passing game.

Its pretty amazing that after losing 7 of their last 9 games that Seattle could be in the position to ruin our season and host a playoff game if they win this Sunday :|

I like our chances though,as long as Spags has them mentally prepared, and as long as he allows our offense to keep attacking beyond the 1st half.

Ok,good season.
But......I cant take another year of dink & dunk. Bradford was shaky tonight, but Seattle's DB's were allowed to just sit on our recievers all nite long.....as defenses have for most of the season. Our interior OLine got pushed around(again) and yet we only ran SJ to the edge twice(?)....
Our late game deep throws were just a panic reaction by a stubborn Spags/Shurmur who are in love with playing it close to vest.

The defense was solid(again). They took Seattle's initial "punch" and kept the team in it all night despite knowing that the offense couldn't score. Special teams were solid too.

If the FO doesn't go out and get a few weapons and evolve this ultra-conservative f***ing philosophy i'm going to go postal next season.

Simply brutal offense.
The Seahawks defense looked like the Baltimore Ravens tonight, and thats just disgusting.
Playing not to lose in a game like this is 100% pure

My NFL wishlist is now down to two things only:
#1) The Patriots don't win another SB.
#2) The Saints beat the Seahawks by 12 TD's next week.

Ouch Mojo. At least you don't have to be too concerned about your QB. Not bad for a rookie. Good guy to build around.

Rams' OC Shurmur might be in line to take job in Cleveland. Setback for Bradford?

I dont think so. Bradford was tutored closely by veteran QB coach Dick Curl(insert joke here). They developed quite a relationship apparently from day 1. Bradford is an intelligent guy who also happens to be an incredibly hard worker in practice and the film room.
IMO Sam the Ram will make a smooth transition....especially if the WCO is retained.

Shurmurs conservative scheme(or was it Spagnuolo handcuffing Shurmur.....?) was vital in protecting Bradford all year. The lack of weapons also contributed to the conservative approach. Many fans(including myself)understand that, but at times it was brutal to behold....and hard to accept. I felt we left a few victories on the table due to the offense "hiding in the corner" so Spags defense could try to preserve the victory.

If Shurmur does leave for Cleveland it will be interesting to see if the offense next season remains "handcuffed" under a new OC. Spags will have to answer to his critics if thats the case.

Assuming the Rams go out this offseason and get Bradford some weapons,i think there's no excuse to not open up the offense.

You dont pay a QB $50 million bucks so he can throw 5 yrd outs for the next 10 years.

The mastermind of lets give Steven Jackson 11 carries vs the 30th ranked rushing defense in the biggest game in 5 years is GONE.
6 points? vs Seattle? Really?

No tears.
Peter King said the guy leaving "upped Sam Bradford's game" or something like that. Bradford's tds and ints the second half seem to indicate otherwise. thoughts?

Mike Martz' triumphant return to St Lou in 2011 as OC. :)

But seriously, i agree to a certain extent. Shurmur played it smart with the dink & dunk protecting Sam and limiting the mistakes etc...and there's the theory that Spags was the guy limiting Shurmur. We'll see about that now.

I mostly credit QB coach Dick Curl w/Bradfords development.....his football development. ;)

I think it was 3 tds and 6 picks. 2 tds were against Carolina in week 8 or 9.

:championship:

The first 10 games:
17 TD's vs 9 INT's
------------------
The last 5 games:
1 TD vs 6 INT's

Last 5 opponents:
@ AZ
@ NO
vs KC
vs SF
@ SEA

I reacall Shurmur's offense opening up a little in the middle of the season(during Bradford's no INT streak),only to shrink again late.

I say unshackle the kid a little.
