Little surprised with Jacobs. People were legit mad that Kyler won Rookie of the Year over him.

But imagine missing on three 1st rounders in the same draft
Mayock and Gruden were a disaster considering the core they started with AND the draft capital they had.

Panthers agree to terms with Andre Roberts

The Panthers agreed to terms on a one-year deal with receiver/returner Andre Roberts on Monday, the team announced.

Roberts, 34, has earned All-Pro honors three times the past four seasons, one with the Jets and twice with the Bills. He led the league in kickoff return yards last year (1,010, with the Texans and Chargers) and had a 101-yard return for a touchdown.

His 8,578 combined return yards (kickoff and punt) are the most of any player in the league since 2010.

Didn't know he was still playing

Isn't he good friends with Fitz?

Report: Sean Payton in negotiations with Fox to become studio analyst

Sean Payton won’t coach in 2022. He could coach in 2023, and a studio analyst job, rather than as a game analyst, will make it easier for him to leave TV and return to the NFL if that’s what he wants.

To that end, Payton is nearing a deal with Fox Sports, Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports. He would appear on “Fox NFL Kickoff,” the network’s Sunday morning show and contribute to its top pregame show, “Fox NFL Sunday,” per Marchand.

Fox has an opening at its lead game analyst spot with Troy Aikman having left for ESPN. Kevin Burkhardt is expected to replace Joe Buck as the No. 1 play-by-play announcer, but Fox has not announced its NFL broadcast teams.

Amazon Prime Video, which has “Thursday Night Football,” also has had interest in Payton for its pregame show.

Payton, 58, left the Saints after 15 seasons but has not ruled out a return to coaching.

If he decides he likes the television work, Payton could be the heir apparent to Jimmy Johnson on the “
I fully expect Payton to be the HC of the Dallas Cowboys at some point in time. They won't be a legit threat until that happens.

"Miss" is subjective.

None of those guys are bad players.

Not their fault Mayock over drafted them.

I would actually like the redbirds to go after Clelin Ferrell....
He fits our system so much better than the Raiders system.

Abrams and Ferrell would be considered below average starters.

Abrams has given up around an 80% completion percentage, a nearly 120 QB Rating, and his missed tackle percentage is around 12% do his career. I'd say he's a bad starter.

Ferrell has been an even bigger disaster, especially as a top five pick.
Not their fault Mayock over drafted them.
Abram and Jacobs went around where they were slated.
