NFL claims technology can't spot the ball
Instead of serving up solutions, league offers up excuses.

So we can put a man on the moon, build all kinds of technology, but we can't locate a ball
Hmmm....
Bullcrap. The Premier League and soccer and determine if a ball crosses the goal line within millimeters.![]()

True, but we now have 16k TVs and cameras. You might need to install 30-50 cameras in the stadiums. They could install the technology if they wanted to, again at a price. Also, it isn't like we have a promotion/relegation system where the technology would need to be installed in different stadiums each year. The difference is that in soccer the league only has to implement the technology on the two goal lines, whereas the NFL would have to do it on any area of the field. I don't know anything about the technology, but this could be the obstacle.
Nobody is taking on that contract. Or giving up.much for player whose better days are behind him![]()

Now that the Rams have said they will look to trade Cooper Kupp, here is the cost: If Kupp is traded, his new team would inherit his $20 million salary in 2025 ($7.5M roster bonus + $12.5M base) and $19.85M in 2026—unless his contract is renegotiated.www.threads.net
Okay, this is beyond absurd. Obviously it has to be before a bye week, but it also needs to be AFTER a bye week. This is just not doable for hard-core NFL play.Adam Schefter

NFL will play a regular season game in Melbourne, Australia in 2026 in what will be the first game of a multi-year commitment to play there. The Rams are expected to play in the first game in Australia.

Yup. The NFL managed to put four teams on a cycle of early week games at the end of the season to see if and how this could work.TNF, AUS, BYE
