Id be willing to bet we take Rudolph in Rd1 after trading down or white in rd 2 .

Based on the FA QBs they added I would say those two rookies would be in the same mold.

Anyone who saw them play and get annihilated against the NFC West last year with Palmer at the helm may understand the FO's thinking this off season. They couldn't land Cousins so went with their next options without giving up draft capital. Now they intend to fix what was broke and hope for some luck at QB later in the draft.

They're going to use their 15 pick. They might try to trade up from their 2nd round pick, same as last year.

I think they go BPA (OL, LB, CB) at 15 or trade back later in 1st to get more picks. Only way they take QB at 15 is if Mayfield or Allen are available. If they pass on QB in 1st, I think they take Falk or Rudolph in the 2nd.

Annihilated? Cards were 3-3 in the NFCW. And Palmer won the only game he completed against the NFCW.

I was at the HQ paying for tix when she was interviewing who I think was McDonough. I wouldn't buy this though.

Team Source Tells All About Cards Intentions In The Draft!

Sounds to me like it's some sort of clickbait headline that is nowhere close to being true. Why would they let known their intentions in the draft? Why would they only sign Bradford & Glennon to short contracts? They are drafting a QB.

But it's more fun to run around screaming the sky is falling.

I get why fans don't like this offseason so far but the doom and gloom is premature.

My head exploded now. Even if it's a ruse, you sure the hell should not be allowed to say this with what the fan base is going through and simply stay mum. I think Michael should have singed Keim to a one year prove it deal. I think they are telling the truth because so far, the Cardinals have never lied about their draft intentions under Keim yet
I bet that they are hoping a few teams are thinking the same way as you. They are trying to not seem so QB desperate that would cause them to get leapfrogged like they did last draft. Be it in the 1st or the 2nd, they have ID'd a QB they want.

Sometimes you have to fold even when you have a winning hand.

This should be a smokescreen, but it's probably not. Keim is inept when it comes to drafting Qb's... and every other offensive position. Turrible.

you can't have a smokescreen when there's no one behind you who needs to be fooled.

It is very confusing what Keim et al is doing/thinking. Bradford at $15-20 million? I would say no.

Glennon at any cost? I would say definitely no.

But, we shall see. Maybe it will work out...maybe...???

Very curious and hard to fathom.

They either need to draft an OL or LB at 15 and then, maybe, a QB in the second or maybe the third and then say "Wait 'til next year when we have a ton of cap space (and no players left)?

I guess it's kind of Cardinal-esque to be in this situation. Tease, tease, collapse, collapse, tease, tease, collapse, collapse...rinse and repeat...

I am befuddled.

On the other hand, so far, no Gabbert, Stanton or Barkley so I am happy on that count.

I don't think we'll trade up, but I'm not buying that we're not taking one in the first or second with a total reliance on Glennon.

But hey, I don't know, Keim seems to have been obsessed with Glennon for years.

Assuming no trades, with the first four picks, I want (in no particular order) a QB, CB, WR and an OL. Just hope that they don't have to redshirt.

Because several local reports have said the opposite

Either you are confused or I am. I thought we were talking about the reports that we aren't targeting a QB at 15.

good thing I grew up a Raiders fan and just recently moved back to norcal...at least they are TRYING to put a championship team out there, lmao....

one can just pray this is a smoke screen to try and keep others from trading in front of us...

or that MB doesnt take another three whole seasons to recognize a trainwreck
