“They earned that win and we didn’t,” Campbell said.

Campbell said he points the finger at himself: “At the end of the day, I didn’t have them ready.”

I mean, he was definitely hurt. Didn’t he go to the locker room for a period of time?

I saw him go into the tent

Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu lit up Lions quarterback Jared Goff during the return and Goff had to leave the game to be evaluated in the sideline medical tent.

give the Commies credit: first time all season it looked to me like Goff was pressured as often as not -- and it paid off in the first two turnovers that shifted things into the Comms direction

Looks like Jaden was the QB Kliff needed to be a success in this league. Jaden is a good benchmark for how we can maybe view Kyler moving forward. Kid just has ice in his veins.... Kyler, well...we know. Small differences that make all the difference in the world.

Lions had 21 defensive players miss 168 games during regular season. Six missed at least 10 for total of 85. Saturday, CB Amik Robertson was injured on second defensive snap. Kindle Vildor (14 per game) played 73 yesterday. Morice Norris (2 games, 1 defensive snap) played 22.

Add all this to a poor performance from Goff + flawless WAS execution (especially from Daniels) and it equals a 1st round exit for DET, eh?

I’ll admit I’ve been souring on Kyler this year especially given his performance post bye. After now watching Kliff succeed and a rookie quarterback light up the league in his system I’m more disinfrachised. When Kliff left I was happy as I really thought his offense (bubble screens on third and long) was killing is. I still don’t know if he is head coach material but I now think 70-80% of the blame goes to Kyler for just melting under pressure continuously. We might make the playoffs next year with an improved defense and an easier schedule but until Kyler wins a couple games when it matter I’m going to continue to have doubts.
