True story for you.

The first time I visited Arizona was just after 9/11 had gone down. The one movie theater was playing Monty Python and the Holy Grail on the big screen to lift spirits. I ended up meeting someone from the old board and going to see the flick. Now, I know I know the person, but I feel like I know all of you guys, so I can never remember who it was. Jw7, I think.

I'll bet that trip wasn't as much fun as coming to the Pats game. It's not every day you get to be a flag boy. :D

McClain won't get past the Ravens at #25, if he slides that far. He'd be Ray Part II. Those dudes know how to draft.

maybe not that far.

Just heard on the NFL Network from their radio guy that if McClain got to the GMens pick there's no way they pass him.

IF not the GNats>< then the ravens< Ozzies way too savy to let him pass by.

We should have insisted to switch 1st round positions with them as well.

or Iggles who are LB thin

with that I just don't see anyway he gets to #26

That's my biggest concern in the Cards efforts to replace Dansby, that the guys who could best do the job will be gone before we get to pick.

Hopefully our luck holds like it has the last few years and guys we really want and need fall to us.

I'm amazed at the posters who claim that Weatherspoon or Lee or whatever LB is better than Dansby so we don't need to be concerned when there is no certainty that the guy will still be available at #26.

I am convinced that the Cardinals have hired high school girls to spread negative gossip around the NFL.

"DRC has only one kidney and is very skinny"
"Wells is injury prone and a fatty"
"McClain has Crohns and cant even finish a workout"
:lmao:

Imagine if we end up with McClain at the end of the 1st and Spikes at the end of the 4th. Players as good as these two falling are a byproduct of the lag-time between the end of the college season and the draft, and the over-emphasis teams place on timed speed...the teams that pick these guys up at a value tend to hit more often than not. I would be so happy if we keep picking guys with minor concerns that get blown up heading into the draft.

you're right about that. I still say this is the time the Cards/Graves needs to pro-active and move up, if needed, and get the guy that is special. Be aggressive for once and get the best LB in the draft. There's not a whole lot of difference between any of the OLB's like Weatherspoon, Graham, Hughes. Any of them can be had but there is huge, huge dropoff between McClain and the #2 ILB. In fact there is no telling who the #2 ILB is. Is it Chaney, Butler, Lee, Washington,or Spikes. They're all nowhere near the player RM is.

 That was awesome. Talking smack at Corey Dillon was pretty cool too. Too bad my team couldn't back up my mouth lol

LOL I thought that Patriots coach was going to have you guys arrested because Jim was taking pix with his cell phone.

How ironic that only a couple of years later the Pats get caught spying on other teams. :D

Not getting my hopes up. I think whoever we get at #26 will be good, but he probably wont be as exciting as getting Beanie Wells last season. That was the ultimate slide.

I heard he puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars.

Don't worry cause he's a lumberjack and he's OK and he sleeps all night and he works all day.

............maybe presses wild flowers once and a while but don't worry cause [see above]

I like McClain too, but there is most definitely a consensus #2 WILB, it's Weatherspoon. Some prefer him to McClain. I love me some Weatherspoon. He is not a 3-4 OLB. The huge drop-off is after him. The problem is that I don't expect either to be available @ 26. I think as soon as one goes, we may want to think about to moving up to grab the other.
