LOL I thought that Patriots coach was going to have you guys arrested because Jim was taking pix with his cell phone.

How ironic that only a couple of years later the Pats get caught spying on other teams. :D

I don't think they really thought it would matter. And, sadly, it didn't :(

Don't worry cause he's a lumberjack and he's OK and he sleeps all night and he works all day.

............maybe presses wild flowers once and a while but don't worry cause [see above]
On Wednesday he goes shopping, and has buttered scones for tea.

I heard he puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars.

Yeah, well, he's a lumberjack and he's okay.

One of my favourite Monty Python skits second only to the dead parrot sketch.

:D Of course I have cheese, this is a cheese shop, sir, in't?

say no more. nudge, nudge ;) ;)

Love me some Monty Python. If you have not seen Spamalot it is required for any true fan. Laughed almost non stop during the entire play.

Ironic that there are two factors working counter to one another & having little to do with how good McClain is as a football player - that fairly or unfairly will influence where he's picked in the draft.

Working against McClain is the Crohn's factor - the higher the point in the draft, the more an interested team has to assess the risk.

Working for McClain are the rotten forty times (none of them breaking 5.1) run by his main competitor for Top LB Gun (Spikes). This in and of itself has to make McClain look more attractive to a team in serious need of an ILB.

A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat, sir!

I was incredibly lucky catching this on Broadway whilst in New York once. They had a problem with the heaven mechanism. It became caught up and stuck in the lighting system, they had to pause the show, and the actors started doing stand-up comedy. Brilliant!

My favorite Monty Python quote

'' He is not the Mesiah, He's a very naughty boy''

from the The Life of Brian.

Just out of curiosity where did most of you think Beanie Wells would be drafted after hearing about his potential injury worries last year?

I personally thought he was a surefire top 15 pick and possibly a top 10 pick.

On another site i used to be on i had the Broncos taking him and Moreno falling to the Saints. I know a bit wild but i used to like non-conventional scenarios like that. Im gonna try and restrain myself to rational thought this year.

If you did great call but ive got a feeling most of the others were more inclined to the think like i did i.e. top 15

Many of us quitely shook our heads and smiled as Cbus kept telling us that BW would fall to us. We all wanted it to happen but most of us doubted it. As Cbus kept the posts coming I decided to simply think positive thoughts that it could happen.

I think the truth is that BW told Whis during an interview that his injuries in college were merely flesh wounds and that he had worse before. ;)

Great call by Cbus then i wonder who he has us taking this year. I also think the interview scenario is very likely to have happened but i wonder why we were the only ones who believed him or whether it was a case of everyone else feeling that there was a BPA for them considering the potential risk involved with Beanie.

I am convinced that the Cardinals have hired high school girls to spread negative gossip around the NFL.

"DRC has only one kidney and is very skinny"
"Wells is injury prone and a fatty"
"McClain has Crohns and cant even finish a workout"

I knew there must be something going on. Gotta love it.

The black Knite says you missed the Monty Python quote.

Black Knight: 'Tis but a scratch.
Arthur: A scratch?! Your arm's off!
Black Knight: No it isn't.
Arthur: Well what's that then?
Black Knight: I've had worse. — Monty Python And The Holy Grail

Oh i didnt miss it and touche for being able to fit a Monthy Python and the Holy Grail quote in there. I was actually referring to us being able to see past Beanie's supposed injury concern whereas couldnt or perhaps they felt he wasnt that good.

I can only HOPE he falls to #26, but I don't see it happening. I would LOVE to be wrong though.

Agreed on all accounts. One of my favorite skits. :D
