Good lord… that is almost as bad as the 0-10 big game streak.
Yeah this is my issue here. He’s been flat out bad when we need great individual play. Yesterday was a microcosm of that. Kyler had a bunch of great throws over the course of the game but when it mattered he simply didn’t get it done.

kyler looked good until the defense started getting to him - again - playoff teams have good defenses - that's why we never win - other qbs have overcome not handling the blitz but kyler has not - this is why 3rd and longs are so detrimental to our cause - same with the redzone - one well designed jailbreak and the game is over

It is possible to rid of Kyler, but who’s gonna trade anything of value for him?
Man that pre-6/1 trade is enticing. Maybe trade kyler and a 3rd for a future 7th?

KEEP 2026 CLEAN!

(That’s my new slogan)

Yup. And the “he was trying to make a play” defense is just a pathetic excuse. He’s paid 50 million to MAKE plays.

That's not a hold. That happens 10 out of 10 on that route. The ball should never be on his helmet, it should be a yard and a half wider and half a yard lower. Just a badly placed ball.

Trey had his head round in time, but was looking for the ball wider and lower, didn't have time to adjust his hands.

This is the difference between winning and losing, not even a difficult pass, this ia a layup for 95‰ of QBs.

You might want to tell Trey McBride that since he got up after immediately screaming at the refs for a flag. He wasn't saying being hit in the helmet was a penalty he was saying he was held on coming out of his break.

The announcers mentioned it too. I don't think the ball was in the air when 3 grabbed him which is why I'm saying holding not PI. Your pic shows it with the ball in the air

No way… a receiver is calling for a penalty on a close play that decided the entire game. How dare we question McBride’s objectivity in that moment?!

He wasn't as bad for sure, made some nice passes, and overall would have been a reasonable game, if he just wasn't so bad in clutch situations.

The INT late in the 4th was dumb (again) and the defense saved his ass and gave him another chance and again he blew his lines. That pass was a terrible pass. It was far too inside for that route, if anything it should be leading him outside so he has to reach for it. The bounce was unlucky, but that was an EASY TD for the win and he fluffed his lines again.

You literally just posted a picture that shows why he didn't lead him outside. Because the guy who ended up intercepting the carom is outside and in a position to come off Wilson and break up the pass if he leads him further.

again no objection to moving on from Kyler if we can get someone better but trying to make THAT pass an example of Kyler being terrible is just silly. They asked McBride about it after the game and he said, he was late getting around because he got held, and that's why he didn't see the ball in time. Said he couldn't believe the result he and Kyler were both yelling for a flag for the hold and then they all thought it would be overturned on replay since the ball touched the ground

You know at some point maybe consider counseling?

He literally said AFTER THE GAME, that it was a penalty that's why he didn't get his head around, he was being held on the break.

I mean don't you EVER get tired of being so arrogant?

Gee wiz, Russ… he’s probably being even more objective after the loss. Who would ever believe a Cardinal complaining about a penalty, especially knowing his QB was getting killed for it for face planting again.

I mean don't you EVER get tired of being so arrogant?
Do you EVER get tired of whining about the refs? You do it CONSTANTLY in EVERY sport.

This is basically the exact same route for the Bengals win except the the pass isn't a rocket at Higgins helmet

Except that it's to the sideline not the guy coming from the middle and there's no defender between the sideline and the receiver like there was on the play.

BUt other than that yes identical
