I guess im in the minority but I think i would be OK with the trade...Isn't Rhodes one of the better safetys in the NFL? Granted I don't know how expensive his contract is but I would defently welcome the trade.

Take it for what its worth....reported by NFL Blitz this morning. Also mentioned cardinals trade demands for Boldin have dropped significantly and that they really like Rhodes.

No he is not a FA but he is due a huge roster bonus next week so Jets might want to make a trade to avoid paying it.

I'm sure one of the stipulations of the deal is to rework his contract as I'm sure the Jets would do with Boldin

He got benched in NY. I'd like to think Anquan is worth more but who knows.

I'm not a cap expert nor do I claim to be but a 2mil bonus and a 2.7mil salary IMO thats pretty good for a safety who's been in the probowl. I'd defently take him.

His int numbers are solid -- even 2009 when he got benched. This playing for a team that offensively likes to run the ball, so its not like he played in a bunch of shootouts.

I see a good amount of Jets games and Rhodes makes plays all over the field. Not sure if he is a SS or FS but as I said he makes plays all over the place. Ryan brought in his guy Leonard from Balt as a FA and so I believe that's at least one reason why Rhodes got less playing time.

I think he is an upgrade over Rolle.
