It's a misuse of him to put him at 34 DE.

34 DEs are usually converted DTs.

You point that fact out and yet you state Bosa can play any of the front 7 positions in a later post.I think the point is that I think Bosa can hold up at the DE spot against the run.I know that a lot of 3-4 DEs are bigger and generally less skilled passrushing and more run defense oriented while the pass rush comes from elsewhere.[/QUOTE]

Bosa will be a much better player as a true edge guy (3-4 OLB, 4-3 DE).

All of these guys are great athletes entering the league, but Larry was never a freak athlete. He ran a 4.48 at the combine. TE Ben Watson ran a 4.5.

Also, Larry benefits on jump balls with his body control and his height, not because he has all world hops. Again, there is a certain level of athleticism you have to have to be an NFL player. Larry has always had that, but he not abnormally so ala players like Andre Johnson or Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss.

Supposedly, Larry has unreal hand-eye coordination. That along with his body control is the reason he's so good.

I didn't say he was a freak. Those guys like Moss and Megatron are freaks guys that size shouldn't be that fast. Larry was a hell of an arhlete I think people are cutting him short when it comes to that. That's what I saying

Not to mention, Joey Bosa, who is similarly built, played as a 34 OLB during his 1st year w/the chargers...10.5 sacks in 12 games "out of position"

That is the best argument of all for Nick Bosa considering how similar he is to his older brother.

I don't believe they'll stay at #1. If they are forced I'd guess Bosa or Allen. A case could be made for either as a fit I suppose as legit disruptors. Allen seems better suited to the 3-4 and looks to be the healthier prospect. William's is built to be be the most durable, but won't be the disrupter on passing downs. I also don't know if Bosa will stay healthy carrying any extra weight.

Oh lord, us taking Quinnen Williams at #1. Hell no. I'd rather have Jonah Williams there if we make a bad pick at #1.

Bosa or Allen at #1. Period.

If we trade down, Jonah Williams or Greedy Williams please.

I would not take Jonah Williams prior to pick # 20 or so. He is not an NFL LT, and probably not a NFL RT either.

We just disagree. I think he is lock solid. If he busts, you throw this back at me. No problem.

We don't know what the Card big board looks like.

But, if Bosa, QW, J Allen and Murray were at the top of it and the Cards rated them fairly close together, on it, I could see us trading down to #4. And, if we could extort extra picks because one of those teams was in love with Murray, so much the better.

He has almost the exact same measurables, experience, and skill set as Justin Pugh. Justin Pugh played LT in college, failed at RT in the NFL, and found a home at OG. It is not because Pugh was not athletic or dedicated, it was because his measurables and skill set didn't translate to OT in the NFL.

Nick Bosa is clearly ahead of QW & JA IMO.

If we don't take Kyler...... which we probably wont at #1 then it has to be Bosa. Like..... foregone conclusion HAS TO BE HIM.

I bet we will be shopping the pick to move back to 4 or 5. We like to do business with the raiders and I think we may do some business again with them. Hopefully they pony up a ton of their picks over the Bears picks in the next few drafts.

I am rooting for a trade down. Get as many picks as possible and infuse a lot of new talent onto this team. Hopefully, the QBs start to shoot up the draft boards after the combine. I can't see anyone paying the price for a #1 pick for any other position in this draft. Not even for Bosa.

Man, it would be hilarious if we Suggs the hell out of this pick again.

I would select Josh Allen, because I think Bosa is all that but will seldom give you all that for a full season but who knows
I'm not sold on Bosa either ... and think Allen would be the better fit, but that is the funny part of the draft ... we will see how it is in 3 months from now, maybe till than Bosa is only a top 5 pick and someone else is the consensus #1 pick.

It would be Suggs like stupid trade move if we dropped past #5. The Suggs trade dropped us a dozen or so spots and is.the worst move the team ever made in the draft. I was on fire for us to draft Suggs, he was the last time I internet fought about a draft pick. The whole experience killed draft talk for me.

Different era...this team would do well to move out of the pick.
Then we’re in a position to do it again in 2035 & you say “different era” like that has to do with anything.
