Seriously. I would get it if he had good numbers against Kershaw or Iannetta had crap numbers, but the exact opposite is true!

The D-backs went from a strong hitting Catcher, but a defensive liability, last year to the opposite this year, which I supported.

But Iannetta has emerged as both a good hitter and good receiver. And he was our lead Catcher down the stretch as we reached the top wild card spot.

I'd sure like to hear why Lovullo is benching him. Is this the case of another starting pitcher, instead of the Manager, choosing his Catcher?

Good news for us, this seems to be the year of the dominating aces getting crushed. Kluber allows 6 through 2 2/3 as the latest victim of the bad juju. Kershaw is next.
