It's never a good idea to concede Game 1. Especially in this way. No way Walker should have started and Iannetta should be catching. I'd even think about putting Lamb at the bottom of the order since he's been hot lately.

Trust me, I think it’s dumb. Torey made 3 really bad lineup decisions tonight (no Lamb, no Ianetta, and Walker). It just feels like we’re not putting our best talent out there, and that’s considering our two top starters are unavailable.

I definitely would have started Corbin. Godley should have come in after if Corbin couldn't get it done. Starting Walker basically told me we aren't trying to win this game, which is madness.

C'mon Bert, it's not that. It's throwing out Drury's stats like they are crap and not even knowing they are better than Barefoot's. And then everyone jumps on too. Drury bashing does not make up for the rest of the team tonight. At least get the facts straight. Everyone can hate Drury all they want, but he has not been our problem. Enough about him, let's just win this game. I think he will be traded with Chris coming back. Maybe he can find a home at his natural 3rd base position and with every day bats maybe he will be decent. Maybe.

Yeah, terrible rationale. Hasn't Iannetta caught most of Walker's good outings? Regardless, Iannetta has the superior bat vs. Kershaw. Mathis couldn't even get a decent bunt down on Wednesday. Got very lucky on that play.

I have been mentioning for awhile that Drury is playing out of position at 2B. But there is no excuse for him not picking up all season where he should be on every possible play. That's why D-backs fans are against him. Justifiably so. And he just hit into a DP.
