I've posted ESPN Insider stuff here before, but frankly I don't think it's ethical (and definitely not legal) to do so. I stopped a while ago.

Just pay the freaking $4.95/month. You even get ESPN the Magazine for free, which is almost worth the money all by itself.

Quite honestly ... these 2 links are free and even better than Insider to find updated info/rumors...

http://www.sportspages.com
http://www.prosportsdaily.com

Both sites contain news on all the 4 professional sports (along w/other sports) and is the best source for rumors... I personally believe that Insider for the most part lifts some of the rumor info from them......

Ppl can give summary updates as to what Ford said without posting the whole thing. Isnt it legal to give like cliff notes version of whats said? They dont even had to quote Ford or say his name. We can use some CODE.

You can use cliff notes but you MUST use his name and a link to where you got the article from.

I did look at it and I was okay with it. You did put a link and did not copy the entire article. Not sure yet if someone else took it down

It was actually me who deleted sunsfn's Insider thread this morning. I was under the impression that regardless of whether an article is posted in its entirety or only partially we were not supposed to post from pay web sites like Insider.

Today another thread of mine was deleted and I thought I did it the way this site wanted it done?
I do not have to waste my time putting any part of Insider on here, but think some would like some of the info about the suns. I posted part of the article, and put the link back to it.

If you do not want any parts posted that is fine, but that is not what has been said here.

Joe, did you delete the article I put on today?

Joe, did you also change the title to the post about Salmon that I put on today?

How do you provide a link to a site where no one can access unless you have insider? I had insider before and the links are useless unless others have a membership there. What you're basicly saying in effect is dont post any related insider material in any form. Using his name doesnt seem to be a factor because when insider was posted in the past Fords name was usually in the post.

Cut and past the URL. That's all you have to do.

Sorry Chris I'm not trying to grill you its just this is a bit confusing. The title of this thread is "No more posting stuff like insider". Then we're being told you can post it as long as one posts an URL and puts Chad Fords name in there....but I dont even know if you can with Insider. Has anyone ever posted a URL with Insider? I dont think so.
