Davis missed practice his 3rd day as an NFL player because he overslept.

The coaches are saying it's not a big deal he simply overslept.

Need I mention where he went to college?

:D

Hah! I am sure he was up all night studying the playbook or something.

It was amusing on draft day hearing the draft gurus saying what a steal he was in the second round. NOT!

Washington papers say the coaches sent people searching for him at his hotel worrying that something bad may have happened. When they eventually found out he'd just overslept they said they were relieved, and that it was a learning experience for Davis and for them on what it took to make sure he was on time for practice.

When I got out of school, one of the most important things I learned is I had to be somewhere at a certain time.

This is only one strike though, it will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

the guy has had issues all the way back to high school. Not major issues but accountability issues. He's from Toledo,Ohio and had told his coach, OSU Coaches, and had a scheduled press conference to go to Ohio State. Instead of being accountable, and saying he changed his mind,he left on a private jet, provided by Petey Carroll, in the middle of the night and went to USC without telling anyone. If you want to go to USC, fine, but at least have the decency and be man enough to stand up for your actions.

Davis was probably 17 years old when that happened - far from being "a man."

That crap happens all the time in recruiting and I wouldn't be bashing him for it. He shouldn't have overslept on his 3rd day as an NFL player but you can save the name calling simply because he didn't sign with your school of choice
