Crushing? No, LOSING that game in OT would have been crushing - this is a chance at redemption. I believe we will continue to see a shift in our offensive philosophy over the next few games to adjust to Palmer having a down year and Floyd pooping his pants.
What was that again? I told u that NOT WINNING that game & going east for this game was a recipe for disaster mentally. The wounds of that bloodbath & the words of many players told me all I needed to know.

It's sucks but the reality of a 6-9-1 season or worse is upon us:bang:

Rise up Dark Side. It's the only logical outlook at this point. We need a QB, a RT, a RG, 1-2 high-depth chart WRs...those are the major holes to fill this offseason, with QB and RT at the top of the list.

We are going to be at a severe disadvantage against any team who can get to the QB and stop the run (Panthers, Seattle, Rams etc). Its very easy how to beat us, you simply apply pressure to Palmer and you will eliminate the passing game. The offensive line is emerging into the elephant in the room this year and a serious liability. Teams can and will get to Palmer and disrupt the long passing game. These coaches need to adjust for this on offense, it was amazing to see on nearly every play against Carolina, CP was running for his life, they completely dismantled any offensive flow and credit to them they also stopped our running game. Carolina is just a nightmare of a match up for us and I believe we would lose 95 out of 100 games against them, they just own us no matter what their record is.

I don't really see a fire with this team, they look shellshocked and I am starting to lose confidence in BA as a head football coach and the coaching staff in general. They rolled the dice going into the season with Humphries starting and he can't block anyone on pass protection. SK knew we had issues with special teams yet completely neglected to address this. Special teams has cost us two games this season, unacceptable. This team has not looked right at all this year outside of a few glimpses of potential, they largely have looked very pedestrian and they don't really strike fear into a lot of teams. You could tell something just was not right with this team in the preseason but I kept convincing myself that its just the preseason and nothing to worry about. After the NE game minus Brady and Gronk, I started to realize this team has lingering issues and they don't seem very easy to work out.
