Eyeroll?

Is this not true? Don't tell me! Tell Phil Jackson!

You mean the PJ who came back to coach him? Who despite siding with shaq out of necessity came back to coach the uncoachable Kobe, then signed an extension to keep doing it?

Kobe cares more about scoring than winning is an idiotic statement. Perhaps some of your more knowledgable suns fans friends can set you straight. If I do you won't listen anyway and will make some pithy remark that shows a lack of knowledge of the subject.

Please, Kobe is and always will be just a poor-man's Michael Jordan. All the talent but too much of a head case to be a leader.

Call me when he wins a playoff series without Shaq. Its been three years.

Well Kobe is leading this Lakers crop very well. 3-1 versus the Suns this year. Tie-breaker in the Pacific. 2nd best record in the West.

Now he is going to finish the season with a badly injured finger. Must be the points he is so worried about scoring that's keeping him on the court.

Let's not forget that for 2 years in a row he carried that team to the POs.

Not to mention his scoring is down this year, and I have not seen him happier in years.

The injured pinky is a joke, its not significant, just hype for the laker hero. Tape it up and go, in the past you wouldnt even hear a player had an injured pinky, who shoots with their pinky anyway. Last year Barbs had ligament damage that needed surgery in his shooting elbow, it only came out after the playoffs were over. I guess LB is tougher than Kobe, he didnt squeal or wear a giant cast(yes with ice). Benard King played with two dislocated fingers(not pinkys) in his shooting hand through the playoffs, now there is one tough dude.

His guidance of Bynum, his attempts per game are down as well. He leads the team in assists.

The list goes on.

But hey cliched stuff works just fine too.

On that note can we start the Amare only cares about scoring posts too? Or does pouting after a game and not showing up to practice because he wasn't getting enough touches not qualify that yet?

I'd coach anyone too for 10 million bucks! :biglaugh:

I agree with Phil. Kobe probably is uncoachable. You can't really believe that he cares about winning more than his own image, can you? Go ask his high school coach who said that Kobe used to sabatoge games so he could be the hero. That sounds like a guy who wants to win????

He's led the Lakers in assists for most of the years in his career. Pretty solidly 5-6 assists pg.

Dont even open that can, cuz you will lose. Lose everytime. Dont start.......please refrain from a baseless diatribe thats hate-dominant.

Youve tipped your hand enough already.

Tell me this...............how many titles has MJ won withouth Scottie Pippen ? Tell me this.........how many far did MJ take the Washington Wizards, without Scottie Pippen or for that matter any decent supporting cast ?

Did anyone else notice that fight in the stands? I think it was during the 4th quarter, you could see in the background when someone was shooting freethrows. Gotta love HD.

No! I like watching fights. One of the LA papers said two courtside Lakers fans were thrown out though.

I noticed two people in Lakers jerseys with courtside seats jumping up and onto the court after several made Lakers baskets.

You also aren't a coach concerned about legacy and beating Red Auerbach's title count as probably the number one goal in your life. Phil needs no money. He threw his chips in with Kobe to ride or die.

His own image is winning. Keep babbling about a story the H.S. coach denied and that was more Pjax mind games.

BTW, don't try to act like you know anything about the Lakers because you read Phil's book and listen to ESPN. It's a deadend street. You want an objective observer's take? Go read some Lazenby.

LMAO!

Youre right, Jordan didn't so much after he tunred forty.

Jordan never quit in a game seven. Jordan stepped up in game sevens. Go ask the Knicks or the Pacers.

Kobe can attempt to plagarize MJ all he wants, but fans aren't stupid. We know a poser when we see one. Kobe wil go down as just another one of Shaq's sidekicks.

Was he number two or three?

Kobe Bryant The Best Player In The Nba.
Much Respect For The Phnx Suns.

Here's an honest question for you.
Don't you find it hard to type the way you do? Capitalizing the first letter of each word must be toilsome. I'm just reading and it's laborious for me!

That's weird. Must be some sort of obsessive/compulsive disorder.

All I can say is that was a frrakin helluvagame to watch. Oh I can also say this. The Lakers are back. They are scary good. Those guys I thought were whatever bench guys? Real good. Gasol? REAL REAL good. Kobe? unstoppable. I shuidder to think about the Lakers once Bynum get reintergrated.

I still think we can beat them, but Im not so arrogant as to think these are the Lakers we worked over in the playoff the past two years...

You know, two can play a "piss-longer than this" contest all day long. I can dog on the Suns (and their long history of failure) all day, just like you can hate on Kobe, but i wont go there. But hate on Kobe all you want but what you cant deny is that not since MJ has the game seen a more dominant guard on both sides of the court (offensive and defensive). And the one thing that would trump your hatred for Kobe, is if the Lakers w/Kobe win another title before the Suns win their first. Ohhh im quite sure if this happened you wouldnt be able to deal with life would ya.

Tis a shame, that you allow ths single individual occupy your mind so much that you have to belittle his accomplishments. Tis better to have known victory whether accomplished solo or part of a unit, than to have never tasted at all, the sweetness of triumph.

I agree with every point. It's amazing how much better a team can get in just one season.
