What are the points per game for the 9 players in that rotation?

................mpg..........ppg

Gortat ..... 34.6..........12.5
Dragic ..... 34.1..........16.6
Scola ...... 29.9..........14.3
Dudley .... 28.8............9.1
Beasley ... 28.8..........13.3

Brown ..... 22.1..........14.4
Morris ..... 19.3...........7.0
Telfair ..... 16.6...........4.6
Tucker .... 15.4............4.1

You know, of course, that winning entails more than just scoring average.

The thing that jumps out is that if you pro-rate Brown's scoring to Dudley's 28.8 minutes per game, it would average 18.7 points per game.

Gentry was quoted as saying that he contemplated changing his starting lineup but decided not to . . . for the time being. It's coming.

Even though Brown's scoring average per minutes played is what stands out, we need that team leading scorer to start and keep us from falling behind right from the start of the game. Neither Beasley nor Dudley are providing it at the Wing.

I really believe that they should consider having a starting lineup of Gortat, Morris, Dudley, Brown and Dragic. This would give the bench both Scola and Beasley for scoring and Telfair and Tucker for pesky defense. That starting lineup is the lineup that had the best runs in the Denver game and Morris thrived in this lineup because there was no pressure to make things happen, he could just let the game come to him and he looked good because of it. Also the fifth guy on the floor with the bench could be a mix of Dragic, Dudley and Brown.
