You win nothing except an "I told you so" badge*

Where do you think OBJ will land? (We won't find out until at least Tuesday as I don;t believe he hits waivers until Monday)

I'm going to go with the Seahawks. While they already have two very good wide receivers they like Locket in the slot and there is an opening there on the boundary to try to succeed where Josh Gordon failed for them.

Seahawks have some cap room to play with and looking at the NFC West and what the Cards and Rams are doing on offense I'd think they see this as a low risk, high reward move.

Plus, every good FA comes to the NFC West.

(I think the best place for him where he can thrive the most is the Raiders but that's a different question)

Don’t know why but I’ll say the Saints. Their star WR is out for year and the word is he’s not happy there. The rest of the room kinda blows so he would be THE GUY no question. Which we all know he needs and longs for. They are still in it as well. Takes him back to Louisiana.

Pick one!

Also if the Bucs are on there the Seahawks should be on there. I can't think of a team that needs WR less than the Bucs.

That’s funny you posted those odds as I was typing and sure as heck the Saints are the favorite

They were my 2nd option too. Mainly because of the Thomas not being happy thing. They could trial OBJ for 8 games and if he works out they can trade Thomas.

Fan base would 100% embrace him too.

It's getting to the point where Keim might have to start signing players just to stop the rest of the NFC West signing them...

Not predicting anything but the Raiders just lost Ruggs leaving a big hole

Raiders are known to take chances on high risk players

Saints make a lot of sense also

Like someone said he'd be the main man

At first glance I would agree that the Saints make the most sense. But if OBJ was already unhappy with Baker, do you really think he likes the idea of playing with Trevor Siemian?

Seattle has a hell of a lot more problems that signing Odell wouldn’t even cover. No way you & others are actually worried about him going there.

Saints may be a good call. Louisiana. Thomas just announced out for the year.

I would say Raiders and it can be worked out even though the Raiders are currently only #3 million under the cap. Cleveland is on the hook for almost $13 million of his 2021 salary since its guaranteed. He could sign for the $3 million with the Raiders and still collect a nice paycheck overall.

Contract Notes: O J Beckham
  • $40.95M guaranteed at signing (signing bonus + 2018 salary + 2019 salary + $2.75M of 2020 salary)
  • Remaining $11.25M of 2020 salary fully guarantees on 3/20/2020
  • $12.791M of 2021 salary fully guarantees on the 3rd league day of 2021 (3/19), injury guaranteed now
  • 2021-2023 Roster Bonus: $1M (paid the 1st day of training camp if he reports)
  • Annual Workout Bonus: $250,000

Buffalo and KC make a lot of sense. So does Green Bay. I liked the Raiders but Silver says they are out.

OBJ would be dumb to go to a situation just like the one he left. That rules out the Saints, Pats, 49ers, etc.

Doesn't he have to clear the waivers before he can choose a team of his liking. Giants can mess with him and pick him up in the waivers. But most likely Seattle or 49ers.

I think it will be the Packers or 49ers.

Why - because those are the two teams I most want him not to go to.

I wish he would go to the Cowboys and mess them up, but I know that won't happen. If I had to list a team, I'll go Titans.

I hope it isnt Buffalo. At least KC could still lose cause of their defense. Buffalo would be downright scary.

It really depends on how Keim/Kliff view the WR room.

If you asked me two weeks ago I'd say no way.

Question now is how long will Hop's hamstring issues last? AJ Green is older, does it take him longer to return to form from Covid? Is Rondale just a gadget guy for his rookie year? Can Kirk avoid the usual injury that sidelines/slows him down?

I dont see us doing it. However, seeing Wesley on the field the other day really got me concerned. I think if we didnt get Ertz we'd more interested. I think Ertz will get increased targets if other guys arent right.
