It really depends on how Keim/Kliff view the WR room.

If you asked me two weeks ago I'd say no way.

Question now is how long will Hop's hamstring issues last? AJ Green is older, does it take him longer to return to form from Covid? Is Rondale just a gadget guy for his rookie year? Can Kirk avoid the usual injury that sidelines/slows him down?

I dont see us doing it. However, seeing Wesley on the field the other day really got me concerned. I think if we didnt get Ertz we'd more interested. I think Ertz will get increased targets if other guys arent right.
To this point. If we are talking about a rest-of-the-year contract and no draft pick compensation, teams have to consider it.

Seattle has a hell of a lot more problems that signing Odell wouldn’t even cover. No way you & others are actually worried about him going there.
Right? We just played against him in Cleveland which is a better team.

Overrated. So, I think the Raiders get him.

I just read that Browns voided the last 2 years of his contract, making him a FA at the end of this season and kept his $7.5m salary intact. This will make it unlikely for a team to claim him and he'll be free to sign with whomever he chooses.

I love OBJ but he hasn't really been healthy for several years now. He has had nagging leg injuries, one full season in last 5, 2 in his career. He's played 45 games in his last 5 seasons total. Great player when healthy but at a certain point it appears he's not going to be healthy. First 3 years off the charts good, HOF good, but since then with the first big injury he just hasn't been the same guy.

I also worry that his personality would clash with others.

There was a time I wanted nothing more than to get him but that time has come and gone.

That would surprise me. One of the reasons they let D Jax go is he wanted to play more and was told it wasn't going to happen. OBJ is a great player but he's not healthy and he's never been willing to be a role player. one of his reported issues in Cleveland is they didn't make him the feature guy, it's because they're a running team.

Could he help the Rams if healthy absolutely, could he piss off teammates and cause disruptions, absolutely.

I can't imagine why the Rams, Bills, Chiefs, or Bucs would want him.

...dave
I think it's Raiders or bust, personally...Definitely not the Patriots. So many veteran WR's have gone there and have been unable to grasp the Patriot way or offense. Maybe Baltimore...but??? He would just be a lost man on a lot of those teams.

There are only 7 teams that have the 7.5 million cap space right now. Can't remember them all but a couple of them are high on the waiver priority list. Jags, lions, and eagles were three if them I believe.

The only issue with AZ and OBJ is that I don't know that he would be ok being the second passing option. We have a good WR dynamic right now and I wouldn't mess that up. However, he still has juice and would be the 2nd best WR on the team.

Does that mean nobody has claimed him since we have the most wins right now or is the order determined by last years results?
