I guarantee you that with a real NBA level point guard, Ayton would not be getting outplayed by Willie Cauley Stein. In my opinion, point guard play will be the difference between Ayton being a combination of David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon and Ayton being a combination of Demarcus Cousins and Andrew Bynum.

He isn't. Ayton has 3 blocks to WCS's 4 turnovers in addition to outscoring him. I can live with the rebound advantage going the other way.

Good, but still getting outplayed by Cauley Stein and zoning out from time to time. This team needs a point guard in the worst way, and the more the team plays like this, the worse McDonough's trade leverage will get. He really needed to pull the trigger before preseason started. And he needs to pull it ASAP before it gets even worse.

Bright spots

Ayton--seems to score and rebound effortlessly. Defense OK too.
Jackson--Shot looks better, just has a pesence
Warren--just such a great scorer.
Okobo to a lesser extent

He needed at least a year or two in the G League. He was rushed to the NBA when not ready, and it ruined him. Management better be careful, or the same fate could await Okobo and Melton.
