Based on the first pre season game alone (so doesn't mean much), Okobo should have the lead on the starting PG spot.
Too much one on one in the second quarter, and not enough touches for Ayton on the offensive end, imho.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team is already looking visibly frustrated and abandoning the offense as a result...and we're only two quarters into preseason...
Oh relax, dude. It's two quarters of preseason without the main ball-handler on the team.
The "main ball-handler on the team" won't be there when the regular season starts, either. With so much at stake in terms of team culture and setting the tone for the future with this young core, do you really want this season to start the same way last season started?
I think that Ayton kid will work out just fine, guys
First off, Booker is likely to play when the regular season opens. Second thing is that there are no better PGs available. Sadly Steve Nash and John Stockton are old and retired.
Okobo looks like a player. I think he will be good in time.
Suns are shooting 1-11 from 3 in the first half. The shooters they added in the summer, Anderson, Ariza, Bridges etc aren't paying off yet.
I'm officially going to puke if I have to see Shaquill Harrison play another game in a Suns uniform. How can anyone think he is not the worst point guard ever to don an NBA uniform?
We get it, dude. You hate Harrison. We ALL get it.
