Mac would've traded with Denver and we would've ended up with 2 second rounders.

Has anyone been on the Cards official site? Everyone on their board is pissed about the Leinart pick. Are they ********? Ive never been so excited as a Cardinal fan.

The amount of football knowledge on the official board is comparable to a small plastic cup. Yes, they are ********. Getting your #3 ranked prospect at #10 is a major coup.

Our old Vikesfan, now known as The Wild Cards, pretty much runs that board. That should tell you all you need to know.

Denver traded up to get Jay Cutler. Didn't see that coming

Bronco fans did. They're not usually in this position, to draft a QB high. It had to be done eventually and they had the chance to it this year and went for it.

And if today couldn't get better, St. Louis gets a CB. Q or Fitz will be burning a rookie CB this year!

^Leinart in the new Madden game. However we all know he wont be wearing 11, since that belongs to Fitz. What number will Leinart wear- did he wear a different number in HS?

EDIT: I just noticed they had him standing in SDS- lame. I wonder if that means they wont have the new stadium in the game. A lot of times it seems new stadiums dont make it into games until theyve been used for a year

Dallas takes Bobby Carpenter. Wasn't expecting that.

That blows, I actually waited a year to get the new Madden thinking I would get it when they had the new stadium.

It will, they're just using the old game to demonstrate. They usually don't show game footage until E3

You guys are awesome. Great thread. This is how it was for me and my Card fan buddy with each pick as we were helping our friends move.

I'm glad the Cards got him but this sucks for Leinart.

If he'd come out last year he would have been the #1 pick.

He went back to school to win another national championship.
His team finished #2, he fell to #10 and just lost a HUGE amount of money. Getting that college education doesn't always pay off.
At least he's only a 55 minute flight from Hollywood.

But he's a helluva ballroom dancer though.
