Oh, come on man, quit your whining. Your argument was invalid, stop picking another argument. I don't really like the pick either, but let's be fair to the guy. Lots of college freshmen don't play a lot of minutes.

Yes, I am whining. They didn't take my guy, who wanted at #1. McLemore managed 32 mpg. I feel like a 7'1" guy with alleged skills should be more dominant in college or at least slightly dominant.

I'm not happy about passing on McLemore, but I'm not worried about Len's health. That's one area in which I have complete faith in this team

The Suns are going to be whiter than Utah. It's going to be a very long decade.

So what was the thinking when the Suns drafted Earl Clark, Kendall Marshall and Markieff Morris... and then trade a second round pick for his brother, Marcus.

The racism on this board sickens me.

Who cares about the color? Geez, this is 2013! Can we get past that stupid white vs. black argument? I don't like the pick, but not because he's WHITE.

what does 2013 have to do with it? big white stiffs suck just as much in 2013 as they always have. if anything, my response is: It's 2013...AND WE'RE STILL DRAFTING BIG WHITE STIFFS?!?!?!

Len is not a stiff, he is just not a sexy pick.

Len is furthest from a stiff I have seen in a 7'1 center. He is nimble and agile.

14. Shabazz Muhammad. Going to Minnesota, where he should battle for disappointing moments with Derrick Williams

Considering they passed on McLemore for him I really don't think it's spin.

i think it's spin because they're trying to sell an awful pick, thinking it's fans are dumb enough to buy the crap they're selling.

If it's true, how can it be spin? It's spin only because you WANT it to be spin. Maybe McD isn't the savior a lot of us had thought and they honestly had him #1 on their board.

Yeah, he's not a stiff, far from it. I just don't like to draft players that have questionable motors. Add in the stress fracture and it's no wonder many of us are disappointed.

He's not a fraking stiff. He's not as agile and athletic as Noel, but Len did pretty much dominate Noel when they played. Stop acting like this guy is Big Jake or *** *******.

huh? you're spinning something into being a great pick because most of the media/fans hate it and wanted something else. thus, you try to over-inflate you're opinion of the guy to make it seem worthwhile.

the cardinals used to do this stuff all the time...and looked like just as big of idiots IMO.

Yeah terrible pick maybe, but I think they are being honest about having him #1 on their board. If they were willing to pass on McLemore for him I don't see any reason they wouldn't have passed on the guys picked 1-4(I would have picked Len over 3 of those 4 myself).

No one thinks its a bad pick because he's white. We think its a bad pick because better players were available. His skin color is relevant because we think that it might've factored into the Suns' decision.

And maybe McD and staff know exactly why Len was invisible at times and have a plan in place to get him to his potential. In which case, we're the fools. I can live with earning the fool label if Len hits it big.

he's a 7'1 C who averaged 11 ppg and 8 rebounds and apparently disappeared for long stretches at a time. that's a stiff IMO.

The Suns could have drafted Shabazz and they would have said that he's their #1 rated guy on their board.

No team would ever come out and say "Well we had this guy at the top of our board but since we didn't get him, we settled for this guy".

In every sport, teams say that who ever they drafted was the guy at the top of their board.

How come no one has mentioned the good news? We will be god awful next year (despite idiot sarver's attempts to do everything not to bottom out and rebuild) and have a shot at the next durant in wiggins.

Of course, with suns luck we wont get the ping pong ball, how deep is the draft after wiggins?

I think it's funny that the staff thinks Gortat would help anyone. If Len gets playing time at the expense of Gortat he's going to start complaining about his touches IMMEDIATELY.

Bucks just took one of the guys I was hoping we'd trade up for. Useless for a year or two but should be hitting his stride just about the time Wiggins and Randle put it together for us in 2016.

Yep, it's possible. But more likely than Noel/Mac being a stud? Possible, but unlikely.

True, but there is a pretty good chance this isn't a lie. Are you that cynical that you think that they are absolutely lying?

And even if they are, who cares?? I think they made a mistake, but there's nothing we can do about it except cross our fingers and hope it works out or be like slinslin and be done with the Suns for the year.
