  1. The #Lions are giving Trey Flowers a five-year, $90 million contract that includes $56M in guarantees, source said. $40M fully guaranteed at signing. #Patriots weren't going there. Big deal for Detroit's new big edge presence.

The #Vikings are signing LB Anthony Barr to a 5-year deal worth $67.5M, source said. With incentives it can be worth $77.5M. He gets $33M in guarantees. And back home.

4 years at 44 for Saffold? Would have MUCH rather done that and take a flier on Roby for the one year instead of giving Alford his deal.

Yeah lets pay Bradley Roby, a guy who has only been terrible as an outside corner, as opposed to a guy who was good for 4/5 years as an outside corner.

This. I do think we need help on the outside, but I don't know I want to pay him any kind of marginally substantial coin.

I'd rather draft a kid in the 2nd or 3rd.

I would rather draft a WR also - but if you are asking me who is the best FA available I think it's him.

Bucannon to Tampa.

Sounds like a cheap 1 yr contract... haven’t seen numbers but so much for a comp pick. The media portrayed him as a “explosive linebacker that excels in coverage” which isn’t true. Guess other teams weren’t fooled either

so, let me make sure I have this right.

First, I voice my displeasure at our annual Charlie Brown-esque FA frenzy of grabbing as many injury prone guys as possible. Then, people bang on me and say "what would you different?!" I then respond what I would have done different... and then I get banged again for doing so?

Makes about as much sense as the Cardinals perpetual plan to hope their repeatedly injured big ticket FA magically end up healthy moving forward.

And we still will. I’m starting to think we will not sign an experienced wr.

Rare are the FA's with a pristine injury background.

Check out Kwon Alexander, Roger Saffold, etc, etc...

Local kid, Tom Clements must like him since he coached him in GB.

This sounds right. I'm not sure if it means anything about the Cardinals starting quarterback.
