According to weather.com, isolated t-storms for Scottsdale tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night.
Haboob South of us in Mesa...which would make it in Gilbert/Chandler...

I was just saying it looks awfully bright over your way.
This is in south Tempe about an hour ago looking southest towards Chandler.

Great storm last night! Haven't seen any totals yet, but I'm guess we got at minimum .75 inches!

We got slammed in Chandler. Palo Verde tree snapped in 2 from the wind. Had about 2" of rain in a half hour.

I should get my slideshow done and posted sometime this week, and then I'll write a post about my visit with Keebali, but it's been slow going -- heavy jetlag, then digging out at work, catching up my garden ...and wilting daily. I am so envious of the rain other people have gotten -- most of it has skipped me entirely, or just a light sprinkle.
The urban heat island has definitely changed the weather pattern around my spot over the past several years.

YAY! over 3/4 inch tonight!
Didn't rain forever but it poured steady for about 10 minutes finally...still drizzling now.

One of the best Monsoon storms in quite a while. Incredible lightening show and going on a solid 2 hours of steady rain, with periods of wind-driven downpours. At 9:55pm, we were at just over an inch and it's raining harder right now than it has at any point tonight!! Most excellent!!! 
Once again, I got nothing.
